A banging on the Havok Marauder’s main door alerted the two clones who were just asleep. Hunter sat up abruptly pushing Crosshair behind him before grabbing his pistol and clicking a button on his wrist to open the door. “Woah! Sarge! Calm down, it's just me!” Wrecker's cry came out as he found Hunter’s favourite pistol aimed at his head. Hunter nodded, “My apologies Wrecker, I’m on edge” while looking back at a tired Crosshair climbing to his own feet.
“Everything alright, sarge?” Wrecker's question was met by a simple nod from Hunter as he helped Crosshair with his chest armour. Something in Wrecker’s tone had the Sergeant look at his brother with a raised eyebrow. “What is it Wrecker?”. “Uhhh, we have a situation. The regular clones are discussing what to do next or more in particular what to do with Crosshair?” “What do you mean?” Hunter moved to help Crosshair retrieve his weapons including the 773 Firepuncher and Beskar Spear.
“Admiral Tarkin got in contact with Captain Rex and made some terms which the Regular clones are deciding what to do and Omega turns 16 tomorrow” Tech’s voice came from just behind Wrecker as he squeezed past the giant brother and turned his full attention to their Sargeant.
Hunter squeezed his fists in anger, feeling someone lean against his side, Hunter wrapped an arm around Crosshairs waist pulling his love closer into his side.
“Do I even want to know the terms?” Hunter’s question was met by silence. Tech shrugged his shoulders, passing over his datapad so the Sergeant could read. Almost at that moment, Hunter had some knowledge that must have been painful to read out-loud:
To who is in charge of the clone rebellion,
We have a proposition for you. Admiral Tarkin will release all surviving clones under his command to the rebellion if the terms are met below, this is directed at Captain Rex to decide:
Terms:
Firstly, the prince of blaze must return home and fulfil his duties. Clones, I ask you to find him and hand him over to Admiral Tarkin. There is a description of him on the next page.
Secondly, the prophecy must not take place, it has been called ‘fake’.
Thirdly, all those who worked for the Empire must return including Crux, Darth Maul and Asajj Ventress.
Fourthly, We will leave you all alone if you bide by the Empire’s rules and do not venture out of this quarter of the galaxy. We can;t promise you will be harmed over the other parts of the galaxy. Food, water and supplies will be sent your way. We know where you currently reside and we will not harm you in the future if you listen to these terms.
Finally, CT-9904 must be handed over personally to Admiral Tarkin; he must come whether willingly or unconsciously. CT-9904 must sign a declaration for all clones to go free and he will be the one they look up to as he rules by Admiral Tarkin’s side.
Please think about these terms, otherwise weapons will begin to fire on your facility tomorrow morning. We have the planet surrounded; there is no escape from our wrath. Do not even try to communicate for back-up, none will come.
Yours Truly,
Admiral Tarkin
Tech quickly took back his datapad while being aware of the anger on Hunter’s face, Wrecker smirked when a familiar look landed on their sniper’s face. A tap on the Sergeant's shoulder made him look down, “What is it, love?” Hunter’s soft tone was met by a very familiar symbol of what looked like a star. Hunter grinned knowing exactly what Crosshair was speaking about. “Wrecker. Tech. Get the kids to the Havok Marauder, and see if Cut and Suu want to join for the ride. We are leaving”. His two brothers nodded. “Are you sure about this?” Hunter looked at his love and nodded, signing, ‘The prophecy is around the corner we only have so much time, I promise it will work out’. Hunter nodded hugging Crosshair closer, the sniper relaxing into his arms. “Let’s get going then” Hunter spoke clearly while placing his helmet on his head, Crosshair repeated the action with his own before taking Hunter’s hand and heading in the direction of the command room. Cad Bane smiled, receiving a signal from the sniper before heading over to his own ship.
