Elsewhere…

Hunter groaned for what felt like the fifth time. Looking around the room they had been held captive in wasn't a good one. All four of them were in chairs at a table. Cid looked unamused beside them. She was currently tied to the head chair beside a filthy pirate. Wrecker Tech was beside her tied with chains. The demolition expert had been drugged to keep him from breaking out. Hunter was on Cid's other side. His hands weren't tied due to Archer being asleep in them but the rest of his body was.

The only one who wasn't tied at the table but was handcuffed was the marksman who had been put on a nearby old sofa. He was still wrapped in a blanket as he fought his violent fever off. A pirate called Geber was watching over him. Hondo quoted, 'No one was to die unless they caused trouble', so far there had been no trouble but then again. Their resident trouble-maker wasn't awake or was he. Tech caught a glimpse of Crosshairs right eye blinking open. The engineer caught Hunter's eyes and the sergeant let out a deep breath. Their way out of here was coming together. Wrecker was more aware of what was going on that he gave his kidnappers more credit for.

It had been two hours since their kidnapping which should mean the older twins would be back soon but it also means Archer needed to be fed. So Hunter was widely awakened by a cry from his son, alerting everyone in the room, even the pirates to the small baby. On instinct Hunter tried to hush him but to no avail. Archer only got louder as he cried. Tech grimaced when the pirates came over.

"Shut him up," one of them grumbled. Cid smirked as Hunter managed to get Archers dummy out of his pocket in the baby's mouth. However, Archer continued to cry as the pirates approached. Hunter tried everything even Cid and Tech tried their ways but Archer kept screaming almost like he was a distraction.

"I told you to shut that thing up before I do!" A pirate roared in irritation. Hunter grimaced when the gun was pulled on his son. The batch leader had never felt so scared for not only himself but for his son's sake. "I told you! Shut him up or I will!" The pirate roared, taking the safety off his gun.

Silence filled the room, the only thing filling it was Archer's cries which died down all of sudden sending them all into worry. "Why did he stop?" A pirate asked, looking at the baby in their captives arms. A happy gurgle left the small being confusing them all as Archer started playing with his own feet confusing his father.

"Because the last time someone held a gun to my son's head they found themselves chained and buried alive" a snarky whispered sentence cut through the silence as sharp as a knife. The pirates whipped around to see the marksman on his own feet although unsteady. Tech could tell Crosshair had stabbed himself with a stim for some adrenaline.

"And I suppose you're the one who dealt with them? You look ready to snap like the twig you are”. The pirate leader mocked earning himself laughs all around from the other six. "Maybe I was, maybe I wasn't. Do you even know who I actually am?" Crosshair asked, looking at the pirates, they all shook their heads.

"Go on, tell me and waste my time, '' the pirate leader mocked with a smile. It was just a stupid clone in front of him, well that's what he had been told. "Let me show you instead" the pirates were confused for a few minutes until three pirates in the room dropped dead with one single gunshot. The other two didn't stand a chance as Crosshair used his knife and slit their throats.

"You!! You're him!" The pirate leader backed away, "and who might that be?" Crosshair smirked with a hint of a maniac in his eyes. "De…ad….". The fear running through the pirates eyes was appealing to Crosshair, it seemed he still had his status amongst the mercenaries. Crosshair stalked forward watching the man crumple under his gaze and beg for his life. Hunter noticed Crosshair had one look in his eye and that was evil, he cleared his throat snapping the marksman out of his old ways. "What?" Crosshair said, raising an eyebrow. Hunter only glared at him and gestured for their chains.
