Chapter 47

"Shit! He is losing too much blood. Echo I need you here, press against this side while I try to stop the bleeding. Wrecker come here" Tech ordered the engineer trying to stop the bleeding, Hunter's wounds were a lot worse than what they thought and the equipment they had wasn't the best.

"Tech! I have Kix on the line. He and Rex are on their way! They said they will meet us at the coordinates Crosshair has given over. Cut and Suu are on standby, somehow they managed to get a hold of a bacta tank and Cut has it ready. Don't ask, I don't know" Omega explained looking at the engineer who nodded. The Marauders' engines seemed to cut out for a minute before they restarted up.

During their flight they had come under fire and the ship took a few close hits. The marksman of the batch was currently flying with Cal beside him. The youngling knew a few things after his old master had taught him.

"Coming into land! Strap in!" Cal called out from the cockpit. Crosshair hadn't said a word since he had climbed onto the marauder, the others were worried but their main focus was on Hunter. The batch leader had paled over the flight and was currently battling to stay in the land of the living.

"Omega!" Honey squeaked out in fear. Omega ran to her and hugged her while Ashton remained silent in his seat holding Archer since his parents were busy. 

The ship came to land quickly and gently, Tech smiled he should let Crosshair land more often. The door to the ship opened, revealing a worried looking Suu and Kix who somehow had a hovering medical bed. Rex smiled at Omega who hugged him tightly, the captain watched as his old medic, Tech and Echo rushed off after him with Cut following after them. The kids were in bed since it was night on the planet they currently resided on. Cut and Suu had a farm still and acres of land due to their connections or more in particular Crosshairs. 

It took Suu a whole minute to notice almost everyone had left the ship bar the marksman who had yet to make an entrance. Wrecker had taken the kids to get cleaned up, Cal introduced himself with a smile and Suu took an instant liking to him as he led the young twins to the barn where they would be staying. 

With gentle steps, Suu entered the Havok Marauder only to gasp at what she saw. In the arms of the famous marksman was a tiny baby. Who didn't even look a week old. The baby was gurgling away playing with its feet. Crosshair looked up with misty eyes at her approach, with ease she slipped into the spot beside him.

"Who's this?" Suu asked, looking at the small baby who's eyes remained firmly closed. Crosshair took a minute to collect himself together, "Archer '' his son made a small gurgle as Crosshair passed his son to his mother figure. Suu took him with a smile. "When did you have time to create?" Crosshair shrugged, ignoring her look as he smiled. "He was a miracle. I thought I had a miscarriage. Nearly killed me the little bugger but he was worth it" Crosshair said, his vision clouding. He closed his eyes to rest them for a few minutes not realising the danger he had put his body in. 

Suu's main focus was on Archer that she was unaware of the marksman's dangerous situation until Archer let out a whimper that sounded like pain. Quickly she tried to sooth the child when he continued to cry and scream all his little lungs would allow him to. "Cross, I think you best take your little one back" Suu said, turning around only to gasp. Crosshair had slumped into the pilot seat, his hand dangling at his side showing the injury he had been hiding. Suu ran for all her might to the barn where she bumped into a startled Kix, Cut and Wrecker. Quickly she handed the baby over to Cut who took him without thinking. 

Her fear was shown in her facial expression, it must have been so clear as Kix and Wrecker sprinted off after her. The medic ran quicker than the giant, without thinking Kix ran into the cockpit only to gasp. He kneeled down pulling the sniper down with him and got to work. Suu was quick to help having learned a few things over the years especially due to injuries. Wrecker stumbled inside.
