It was dark and the ground was still wet. My shoes were hurting my heels. This place looked familiar...ah, now I remember, "Last time we came down here, I was over your shoulder."

"Oh yeah," Jimin replied. Jimin bent over, wrapping his arms around my legs and threw me over his shoulder, and smacked my ass.

He went down a set of stairs and put me down. He smiled as he pulled out a key and unlocked a light brown door with tinted dark windows. He opened the door and it was pitch black, "After you."

There were stairs going down, I could barely see the steps. This was not a great idea while wearing these shoes.

As we turned the corner, I could see there was a reflection on the tile walls that flowed like water. The room was full of tons of flowers. I mean tons. There was a pool in the middle with vines hanging from the windows. The lights turned on and everything was so...beautiful. "Oh my God."

"You wanted hearts and flowers," Jimin said.

I looked down and there was a see-through flooring placed in the middle of the pool, "Oh my God."

Jimin grabbed the side of my arms, "It's okay." He chuckled, following from behind.

I couldn't get over how there were so many flowers and vines. The water reflection made it even better, "Jimin, this is amazing." I turned around and Jimin was down on one knee, holding a red box with a shiny diamond on a ring. His smile grew and it was genuine and kind.

"Be mine. Share my life with me." Jimin looked up at me, his eyes sparkling from the water's reflection and the lights above.

I laughed and my cheeks felt hot and my heart pounded, "Yes."

"Marry me."

I nodded, exhaled, and smiled, "I'll marry you."

Jimin smiled, "Give me your hand."

I giggled as I raised my hand. Jimin took out the ring and slid it on my finger. The cold metal gave me goosebumps and a new feeling went through my body.

Jimin stood up and took me in his arms. I placed my hand on his cheek and our lips met.

A loud bang broke our lips apart as we looked up. The sky was blue, then red then green then pink. Fireworks.

"Did you do that?" I looked at Jimin and he watched the fireworks. He rolled his lip, squinting his eyes as he nodded with cockiness.

He looked at me and chuckled. I took ahold of the sides of his face and kissed him softly.

We joined the others on the balcony and watched the fireworks. Jimin's mom smiled at us and placed her hand on Jimin's shoulder. Jimin looked at me and took me by my waist and pulled me close. I put my hand on his chest and rested my head on his shoulder, "It's great, isn't it?"

I smiled and kissed him. I looked at him and the lights shined on his face. This man was mine and I was his. Forever.

Yes, a happy ending and yet to be more. More indeed.

From afar. Where the trees carried the dark. And a small piece of ash, landing on the ground from above. The hands of the one who never forgets. That very hand holding the piece of what happiness was...burns easily with a touch of fire.
