"I'm getting married, Tal! Come on!" She groaned and massaged her temple.
"Oo nga! Fake friend 'to! Mang-iiwan!" Enzo pouted and turned his back against me making me laugh.
"Payag ka no'n Ella? Kasal mo tapos aalis 'yung isa d'yan." Nate said.
"I'm so nagtatampo! Ugh! You should have told me earlier e 'di sana na-move 'yung wedding date." She rolled her eyes.
"Oh kalma! Ang dugo madam." Natatawang pagpapakalma ni Reign kay Ella na maiyak iyak na nang malaman na aalis na ako sa Wednesday. Ayoko kasi sabihin sakanila nang mas maaga dahil alam ko naman gagawin nila ang lahat para hindi ako umalis.
"Hayaan mo na si Talia. Baka gusto niya na magsettle at mag-asawa roon!" Sabi naman ni Trina at tinapik ang balikat ko. Napailing-iling naman ako.
"Kung mag-aasawa 'yan, e 'di sana 'di 'yan aalis at nandito naman 'yung aasawahin niya." Reign shrugged and raised her brows at me playfully.
Napamasahe ako sa ulo at tumayo habang nagtatalo sila roon sa sala tungkol sa dahilan ng pag-alis ko. Gusto ko lang sumaya. Gusto ko lang maging malaya. Gusto kong kalimutan lahat. Hindi ko 'yon masabi dahil ayaw ko namang maramdaman nilang hindi ako masaya kasama sila rito.
"Oh? Hindi ka ba curious bakit ako aalis? Makipag-talo ka rin sakanila-"
"I am really sorry about what happened doon sa club, Tal." Klyne cut me off.
I immediately smiled to lift his mood. "Wala 'yun ano ka ba! I understand everything, Klyne. But being in a relationship and starting a family are the last things I would want. Don't worry about what happened, hmm?" I chuckled a little and tapped his shoulder, gesturing him to come with me to join the others.
"Last flight with you, my favorite Flight Attendant!" Dein said and placed his palm on his chest while the other is over the other, bowing to me a little.
"Ang formal naman, Capt!" Sabi ko at hinampas nang mahina 'yung kamay niya.
"Syempre! Isa ka kaya sa mga masisipag at taga-salo ng flight!" He chuckled.
"Che! Tama na 'yan, malapit nang dumating 'yung mga passengers." I said and started preparing.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the Captain has turned off the Fasten seatbelt sign, and you may now move around the cabin. However we always recommend to keep your seat belt fastened while you're seated. In a few moments, the flight attendants will be passing around the cabin to offer you hot or cold drinks, as well as breakfast/supper/a light meal/a snack. Alcoholic drinks are also available at a nominal charge/with our compliments." I said and put back the intercom handset before going to Reign when I saw her asking for help.
"Hello! I'm so sorry to bother you, but can you look after my baby first? I badly need to go to the comfort room." One of the passengers asked.
I gladly nodded. "Sure, no problem. Take your time, Ma'am." I told her while carrying the baby. "Hello, my love." I smiled in awe when the baby smiled at me.
"Bagay talaga sa 'yo may anak--joke! Joke lang." Bawi niya agad nang samaan ko siya ng tingin."
I was just smiling the whole time, while looking at the baby in my arms. It has been my dream to have one too.
