Eva and Yu Shao finally got to the dining room and Eva saw that Lee Ming was already sitting. She felt awkward when she saw him.

Why didn't the man start eating yet?...the food was already served.

Was he waiting for her?

Eva shook her head not to think of herself so highly.

Eva and Lee Ming locked eyes momentarily and Eva finally looked away after few seconds.

Yu Shao offered her the seat that was diagonally at Lee Ming's right hand. She reluctantly sat down. She felt Lee Ming's intense gaze still on her and she couldn't help it anymore but had to break the ice.

"Ehemm..you would have started eating. You really didn't have to wait for me"

Lee Ming looked at her for a while before answering
"Why wouldn't I wait? You are my guest after all. It is more appropriate that we start eating the same time"

Eva didn't know what to say so she looked at Yu Shao for a while and the lady only gave her a reassuring smile.

Lee Ming looked at Yu Shao and the woman knew perfectly what her master wanted. Soon, Yu Shao left the dining room and she also drove the other servants to their quarters.

Lee Ming smirked before turning to the little woman for a while. Taking his cutlery, he started eating.

When Eva saw him eating, she also started eating. The meal was quiet. Only chewing could be heard. He chewed slowly and carefully while the woman by his side chewed violently.

Eva was resistant to eating the food at first but the moment her fork sank into the grilled beef and right into her mouth, she immediately remembered her mother's cooking and how tasty, juicy and healthy it was.

The sweet taste of the beef made Eva's taste buds dance in joy so she couldn't stop stuffing the food into her mouth. Though her cheeks were fulls, Eva still found a space to place more beef and rice.

"Take it easy or you will choke yourself" Lee Ming's alluring voice came to her hearing. She had totally forgot the man beside her.

"I'll be fine..." Before Eva could continue her words, a piece of beef got stuck in her throat and she began coughing. Her head was turning red fast.

Lee Ming didn't know what to do. He has never helped anyone who was choking before. He stood up from his chair and gently patted her back but it didn't stop.

At the same time, an extremely beautiful lady came into the house.

"I'm home" she said

But she didn't get any reply. She heard loud coughs coming from the dining room. She rushed to the dining room thinking it was Lee Ming who was coughing just for her to see a little woman with the most beautiful, shiny blue hair coughing.

Looking from the food on the table, the lady suddenly felt like this little woman was choking. And what was Lee Ming doing? Patting her gently like his was coaxing a baby to sleep?

The lady wanted to burst into laughter but thought about the girl that was choking. She walked straight to where they were and slightly pushed Lee Ming from the girl and used a certain method to get the stuck meat out from her throat. Lee Ming was watching closely. This little woman's head was turning blue already. Seconds later, the meat came flying out of Eva's mouth and unto the floor.

Eva caught her breath and slid on the chair, she had lost alot of air then and her eyes were watery.

She was about to tell Lee Ming thank you when she realized that the hands that held her where gentle, like a woman's.
