The Big Question

Soon, Eva came out of the room and found her way to the dinning room. Getting there, Lee Ming was placing the plates on the table. He had made Eva's favorite dish, Ramen noodles and chicken. When he sensed her presence, he asked "You good now?" Eva nodded. "Okay...come and eat". Eva walked towards a chair beside Lee and sat down. Eva ate in silence until Lee Ming said "Eat enough so you'll put on some weight". After saying this, he added more food on her plate. "Are you saying I'm skinny?" Eva asked glaring at him. Lee Ming chuckled "No. Trust me you have the right amount of flesh in the places it's needed" he said as he glanced at her boobs and thighs. Though she was wearing a gown now, his action made her feel like she was naked again. "Lee Ming!!" She said as she threw her spoon at him and it hit him in the nose. Lee Ming feigned pain by grabbing his nose. "Did it hurt that much?" Eva said genuinely concerned. She didn't really want to hurt him. It just happened that it was the spoon that was within her reach earlier on. She got closer to him to see if he had injured but instead, the moment she was close enough, Lee Ming landed a quick kiss on her lips.

"You... you uncultured weirdo!" Eva cursed as she blushed hard not expecting a quick kiss from him. Lee Ming laughed at her reaction and his laughter also made Eva chuckle too. "Go back to your meal little miss ladybug. I want to take my bath" Lee  Ming said as she patted her head and walked away. Eva was surprised that he feigned pain just because he wanted to kiss her. She smiled as she ate her meal in silence but soon, the silence was ruined by the demoness voice in her head. "You really love him don't you?" Eva sighed as she thought within herself. Maybe...just maybe...

Lee Ming was in the bathroom when he remembered the image of Eva's face when he gave her a quick kiss. Her facial expression was so funny. He chuckled once more. The joy he felt in his heart was something he hadn't felt in a long time. That joy was something he felt when his mother was still here. He thought he'll never be that happy again, but that changed when Eva came into his life. Lee Ming then said "I want you Eva, you're good for me".

Lee Ming was dressed causally. He came downstairs and met Eva sitting in the living room, watching TV. "I want to take you somewhere" he said. "Oh okay" Eva said as she stood up and walked up to him. Few minutes later, they were driving down the roads of Pezzo Sacro. The feeling was surreal. The place ignited such a good and happy feeling within anyone who was present there. Eva placed her hand outside the window and enjoyed the feel of the fresh, cool breeze on her fingers. Lee Ming glanced at her and smirked. He didn't know if it was the refreshing feel of this place or this woman has touched at place in his heart that was dormant for a long time. But all he knew was that, he was happy with her. "This place is beautiful...really beautiful" Eva said and smiled a sweet smile that would melt even the coldest of hearts. "You are happy you're here?" Lee Ming asked and she nodded.
"But wait..I think he is really in love with you...I mean, who would do all this if they aren't in love?" The voice in Eva's head said and Eva retorted within herself. "Nahh. He's just being nice".

"We're here" Lee Ming said as he parked his car at the opposite direction of a thick forest. Eva got down from the car and asked "Where are we going to exactly?". After hearing her question, Lee Ming pointed at a narrow road in the forest. "Is it save?" Eva asked
"Everything here is safe" Lee Ming as he stretched out his hand for her to take. Eva took his hand and they walked towards the narrow road. The place had a signboard at the entrance and on it was written. "Amor Waterfall- if you take a dip in the water, you and lover would be inseparable". Eva read what was written and was taken aback but still didn't really believe in it. They both walked through the forest till they got to the waterfall. "Wow.." Eva uttered as soon as she saw the magnificent scenery. This whole place seemed like another world to her. It was so beautiful that it felt like a dream. A blue and white coloured sparrow flew towards Eva and landed on her shoulder. "Awww...she's so cute" Eva said as she removed her hand from Lee Ming's and used it to stroke the little bird. "How do you know it's a she?" Lee Ming asked crossing his hands as he stared at the beautiful creatures, Eva and the bird. "It might be" Eva said to him. The bird then flew towards Lee Ming and landed on his head. It chirped sweetly like it was saying something. "I wonder what's she's saying" Eva said smiling. "Well, my hair isn't a nesting ground you know" Lee Ming said to the bird and it then flew to his nose. "You two are so adorable together" Eva said laughing and the bird flew away.

Lee Ming and Eva sat at the shore of the waterfall. "Did you come here often before we met?" She asked. "Mmm..with my mum and Tae Ming and sometimes Hwang Lu" Lee Ming answered. "That's nice. After my family went bankrupt, we never   really had the chance to go to nice places like this" Eva said with a faint and painful smile. "You have me now" Lee Ming said as he turned her head to face him. "Meaning...?" Eva said smiling. Lee Ming smiled back at her and kissed her passionately. Seconds later, she was sitting on his thigh with her hand holding unto his head. They played laser tag with their tongue for some minutes before Lee Ming pulled away. "Eva.." he called out. "Yes?" She answered. "Marry me"
