Taeyang and Lee Ming teleported back to the car and Lee Ming sighed the moment he was in the car. All this chaos was because someone wanted him dead. He had not even dealt with Liu Jang yet. Now, another enemy is arising.
"Hey uhmm...I think you need to check your phone" Hwang Lu said to Lee Ming. Lee Ming immediately took his phone to just to find several calls and messages from Eva. A smile suddenly crept on his face the moment he read her messages. He wanted to reply the text but he also wanted to surprise her because he felt arriving home suddenly will make her more happy. As he imagined her facial expression when he finally gets home, he became worried about her safety because whoever was attacking him, will also know he has a wife now and might want to hurt her also. So Lee Ming quickly dialed Giovanni's number and the guy picked up at once. "Is she safe?" Came Lee Ming's questions the moment Giovanni picked up. "Oh she's fine and safe young master Ming. She's just worried about you that's all. We all heard what happened over there" Giovanni said. "I see. Thank you" Lee Ming replied before abruptly ending the call the Giovanni's surprise.

"My wife is safe" Lee Ming said to himself with a smile. All these while, Hwang Lu was staring at him with a ridiculous smile on his face too. "You know what, I think you have changed" Hwang Lu said to Lee Ming. "Changed? In what way?" Lee Ming asked.
"You actually got married to her just because of your father and Taeyang right? But now, it seems you have fallen for her" Hwang Lu said poking Lee Ming's shoulder with a smile on his face. "Sometimes you act like we're still kids" Lee Ming said as he grabbed Hwang Lu's finger and pushed it away. "He's not wrong though" Taeyang said in a low vice but Lee Ming heard it anyway.

"Why can't you just admit that you love her? Not being able to get close to any other woman since birth really clouded your judgement of what love is" Hwang Lu said to Lee Ming but Hwang Lu didn't get any reply.

In City F, Eva gave up on calling Lee and decided to go to the living room to watch the news about City Z to see if the situation was still dire.
She got to the living room and saw Giovanni and Yu Shao already watching the news. "Reporting live from City Z, the mayhem which occurred few minutes ago is finally over. We all watched as the roads of City Z repaired itself right before our eyes. Such a paranormal event it was but we are glad it is all over now. I'm Ivan Sanchez from City Z." When Eva heard that, she heaved a sigh of relief. "Thank God" she said in a low voice. "I told you there's nothing to worry about" Yu Shao said walking up to Eva to give her a hug. "Either ways, trust Lee. He's more capable than you know" Yu Shao said with a smile before walking away.

Lee Ming's crew continued their journey and it took a whole day before they arrived at City F.
Yu Shao was making breakfast while Giovanni helped her out. It was a beautiful morning with clear skies and the air was so fresh. It was practically a good day for a date or a special event. The only sound that could be heard in the mansion was the sound of Yu Shao's cooking. Few seconds later, the sound of cars screeching to a halt drew Yu Shao's focus. "Could it be them?" She thought. In a millisecond, the sound of Yu Shao's cooking was replaced by the clacking of shoes. Giovanni went out of the kitchen quickly and so did Yu Shao.
"Oh you guys are back" Yu Shao said as she walked towards Lee Ming, Hwang Lu and Taeyang with a smile on her face.
"I can smell something nice aunty. Are you making something?" Hwang Lu said to Yu Shao as he sniffed the air that was filled with the aroma from the sumptuous meal Shao was making.
"You and food. I'm not done yet so you have to wait a little longer" Yu Shao said to Hwang Lu and the guy nodded like a child who his mother promised a new toy. Lee Ming and Hwang Lu were like her own children since the event with Lee Ming's mother occurred.
"Welcome back Mr Ming and company. But why are they so many here?" Giovanni asked facing the bodyguards that were still standing at the door.
"They'll be here until some things have settled down. You are dismissed" Lee Ming said to the guards as they all walked away and Yu Shao showed them to their various rooms. When she was back, Lee Ming, Hwang Lu and Taeyang were already seated in the living room after Taeyang had introduced himself to Giovanni. Yu Shao walked up to them and asked "That reminds me, what exactly happened in City Z?"
"It's a long story. We'll talk about it later. Where's Eva?" Lee Ming asked Yu Shao.
"I think she's still in bed. The last time I checked she was" Yu Shao said.

That same moment, Eva had just woken up and was taking her bath. After she was done with that, she tied her hair in a loose bun and wore a white gown that reached her knees. It wasn't too tight or too loose. It was just alright. She got out of the room with her phone in hand as she checked if Lee Ming had replied her text. But there was no reply. She disappointedly walked down the stairs and straight to the kitchen without even glancing at the living room. She was still a bit sleepy so her mind was not totally clear yet "Good morning" she said to Giovanni who was now in the kitchen.
"Good morning Mrs Ming" Giovanni said. "Oh please don't call me Mrs Ming. Who would ignore his wife's worried text huh? I texted that jerk with my heart beating so fast because I was worried about him but no reply" Eva said pretty loudly, confessing how she felt and at the same time, talking with sleepy eyes.
A weird cough got stuck in Giovanni's throat the moment his eyes caught somebody else who was looking at that them.
