Misunderstanding

It was past 8pm when Eva arrived at Lee Ming's house. She was about to climb the stairs when she saw Hwang Lu and Yu Shao staring at her intently. "Is something wrong?" She asked and Yu Shao rushed up to her and asked "Where have you been?". Eva darted her eyes between Yu Shao and Hwang Lu before answering. "I went out with a friend from the company". "You had everyone worried Eva. At least you should have informed Lu that you are going to arrive late" Yu Shao said. "I'm sorry but I didn't exactly plan to stay out till this time" Eva said as she walked to her room. She didn't actually notice how fast the time had gone.

Getting to her room, she switched on the lights and saw Lee Ming sitting on the couch with his hands folded across his chest. "Shit!! You scared me" Eva said as she tried to relax. Lee Ming's eyes were roaming around her body as he stood up and walked up to her. Eva's heart started running a marathon as he got closer to her. "Why did you stay out with him till this time?" Lee Ming asked staring right into her eyes. Lee Ming knew Eva won't go out with just anybody but people she took as important. So his first suspect was Kim Kang-Dae. "I didn't plan to" Eva answered fast because she wanted him to leave. "Did he touch you? What did he do to you?" Lee Ming asked as he felt his anger rising due to her reply. "Whatever happened between me and Kim is none of your business Lee Ming" Eva said as she tried to walk past him but he held her arm. "Are you really doing this now?" Lee Ming asked confused at her character towards him recently. "Why would you care if I go out with someone? After all I'm just a pet you can play with whenever you feel like". Eva said as she released herself from his grip.

Lee Ming was both confused and angry. He walked out of her room and went to his. Getting there, he saw Hwang Lu. "Why is she acting this way?" Lee Ming asked Hwang Lu assuming the latter might have an answer. Hwang Lu, startled by his question, answered him "Uhmm...well...Lee I think you misunderstood her actions. You know that since the day you were born you were never able to get very close to a woman like the way you have with Eva. So come to think of it, I think you are the one at fault". Lee Ming was silent as Eva's words ran through his mind again and Hwang Lu continued "You haven't experienced love before and this is all new to you. So I think you should give Eva space and also do what you think is right".

Lee Ming had no expression as he listened to Hwang Lu. He decided to focus on other things and will handle Eva after this issue had been solved"Have you found out who sent those vampires?" He asked and Hwang Lu said "Yes, but I'm not so sure. It's a woman named Li Sung. She lives at "Oceanside" house number 22 and works in the East side of the city and surprisingly, she's human". Lee Ming's eye color changed from it's normal color to red. Bloodlust oozed from where he was standing and Hwang Lu had shivers down his spine the moment he saw Lee Ming's change. He had known Lee Ming all his life but he still was not used to this. "Have Yu Shao pack our necessary things. We leave tonight" Lee Ming said and Hwang Lu did exactly as he was told.
