Setting up meetings

Hwang Lu had already gone to see Lee in his office but he didn't inform him that Eva was at work too.

Noon came rushing and it was time for the CEO and the board of directors to have a meeting concerning some important matters in the company. Due to the fact that Lee Ming had been gone for some days now, they were some matters they had to talk to him about now he's back. Every person including Eva, who was part of the board of directors were seated already, waiting for their company's leader. Soon, Lee Ming, his bodyguard and Hwang Lu walked into the conference room. Some were surprised by what they saw which was a ring on Lee Ming's finger. From what they remembered when he first came to the company, his finger was void of any ring. Some hadn't seen him today till this moment, so they were surprised by the ring on his finger. "Is the CEO married?", "Has he changed his style of fashion by wearing rings now?", "Looks like our boss found love while away from work"... Those were the thoughts going through their mind at that moment. Eva tried to mask the adoration she had for Lee as he entered the conference room. The way he walked gracefully and took his seat was something nice and sexy to behold. She low key couldn't believe this was the man she was married to.

Soon, the meeting started and some members of the board presented some cases to Lee Ming for deliberation. It was finally time to talk to Lee Ming about the rumor of the Vampire worker in the company. Unbeknownst to them Lee already knew about it from his cousin, Taeyang. It was a case that was supposed to be presented to Lee Ming by Anna but Anna YuWei whispered to Eva to talk on her behalf concerning the matter. "Why? I have been away for some time now. I don't know anything that has been happening since" Eva whispered back. "My voice suddenly cracked few minutes ago, I can't present like that. Besides, the last time you came in contact with the CEO it looked like he had bad blood for you. So use this opportunity to get on his good side or something. Please...Eva please..." Anna said. She was sitting close to Eva so it was quite easy for her to whisper these things. Eva sighed as she heard Anna's voice. It really was cracked. "Okay". Eva answered. A man who just presented his thoughts and opinions about strengthening ties with Rasherth Corporation to improve ESCORP's sales said "Now, the next thing we'll talk about is the rumor of the Vampire in the company and it will be presented by Miss Ann..." "It will be presented by me, Eva Watson" Eva said cutting the man off. Everyone in the room had their eyes on Eva and were quite taken aback by her cutting in. Lee Ming who hadn't seen Eva present before was quite surprised to see her here and was surprised by the fact she was wanted to present an issue to him when she hadn't been around at the office. She was with him, so what exactly did she know she wanted to say.

"You may speak" Lee Ming said ushering her to continue with what she had to say. Eva wasn't actually prepared. Infact she was shook by the fact that what she wanted to talk about was a Vampire. A freaking Vampire in the company?!!. Anna had written some things down so her plan was just to read it. "Thank you sir. Well, as we all know, there are rumors going around that there's a Vampire working here. This rumor started days ago. We haven't found out who the worker might be but we are certain that his last name is Kim." As Eva read that part on the paper, the name rang a bell in her head. Kim.... But she decided to continue with what she was saying "A young intern said he saw the so called Vampire worker on Friday night, and in his words I quote "I was on my way home that night after I slept off at work. There was a man who also left the company late also. When we came out of the company, I saw him enter his car. It was a royal blue coloured car and he drove off. I continued to walk home and on my way I saw the man again. He was parked beside a closed bar and was standing outside his car waiting for someone, when the person arrived the person said the workers name but I could only pick out his last name because the person spoke so fast. I found the man suspicious so I decided to hang around and see what happens. The person handed him a bottle and said "this is the amount of blood I can give you today." The rest of what the man said, I couldn't quite pick it. This worker took the bottle of red liquid and entered his car and gulped down a little amount. I couldn't find what else to classify him except him being a vampire because there's so logical reason why a human will drink blood" This is the statement written down by the young intern about the vampire worker. Sir, what are we going to do about this?" Eva asked, throwing the question to everyone and Lee Ming.

The man who had spoken earlier said "Sir, I think we need to find this so called Vampire worker as soon as possible and I also think we should question this intern"
"I also think we should do that too Mr Ming" other person said.
"How many workers in ESCORP has the last name Kim?" Lee Ming finally asked
"According to the data taken of all the workers, about 23 Sir" A woman said this time.
"I see. Set up a meeting with the intern and about strengthening our ties with Rasherth Corporation to improve our sales, one of you should set up a meeting with me and the CEO." Lee Ming said and stood up and left with his body guard and Hwang Lu by his side.
The board of directors dispersed. Eva was in her office thinking about the vampire issue. She felt something was strange about it. Well what can ever be normal about a vampire. Few minutes later, Hwang Lu came to her office. "Your husband is requesting your presence in his office" he said with a little chuckle.
"Why?" Eva asked
"I don't know. I guess he misses you" Hwang Lu said smiling before leaving. Eva walked out of her office and headed straight to Lee Ming's. After taking the elevator, she finally arrived at the top floor and walked straight to his office and knocked on the door.
The door was opened by Lee Ming's bodyguard and Eva entered. "Leave us" Lee Ming said to his bodyguard and he guy bowed and left immediately to stand outside the door.
"Uhmmm...hi?" Eva said wondering why he called for her.
"Come here" Lee Ming said as he made a hand gesture. Eva walked slowly towards his desk and said "I'm here Sir". Lee Ming smirked and stood up from his seat and walked towards where she was standing. "Drop the formalities now Wifey" he whispered in her ear as he took a hold of her waist.
"Lee...we are at work. What if someone walks in on us?" Eva asked getting flustered by his actions
"They wouldn't dare" Lee Ming answered and Eva rolled her eyes.
"Why are you here? Why aren't you at home resting?" Lee Ming asked holding her small face in his palm this time.
"Why shouldn't I be here?" Eva asked
"You are supposed to rest since we just got back today or don't you agree?" Lee Ming said placing a soft kiss on her lips before she could say anything.
"But you didn't rest today, so why should I?" Eva answered him with a question
"You're so stubborn Pet" Lee Ming said as his lips found hers again.
"Lee...some.. someone could see us" Eva managed to say..
"Let them see. You are my wife"
