Wedding bells are ringing

Lee Ming had discussed with Eva about staying over at Cassano's till their wedding and she agreed because she felt it was a chance to get to know Cassano. Afterall, the Old man was important to Lee Ming, so he was important to her. Getting to Cassano's house, the old man welcomed her.
"Ohh my dear welcome" he said as he led her into his house.
"Thank you sir, I'm Eva. Eva Watson" Eva said as she stretched her hand to shake the man but he hugged her instead.
"You are getting married to my boy. You don't have to be so formal." The man said smiling. The man had a pure and homely aura around him and it felt good to be around him. "I'm Cassano. Cassano Lorenzo".
"It's nice to finally get to talk to you" Eva said smiling.
"Same here" Cassano said. "Giovanni!!" The man called out to someone and the person came running down the stairs. "Grandfather.." the young man who was running down the stairs said when he finally arrived where Eva and Cassano were standing. "This is woman I told you about, Eva" Cassano said to the young man. "Ohh, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Giovanni. His grandson" Giovanni said stretching out his hand for a hand shake from Eva. Eva didn't know there was another person here in Pezzo Sacro. She thought it was only her, Lee Ming and Cassano so seeing Giovanni was a surprise to her. She smiled at the young man who had a jet black hair and green orbs. Giovanni was a sight to behold. He was just like this grandfather, Cassano. He had a homely aura around him. But when it came to looks, he was astonishing. Eva wondered how men could be so beautiful and handsome at the same time. "I'm Eva. Nice to meet you" She replied taking his hand. "I'll be your personal bodyguard, chauffeur, chef... whatever you want me to be" Giovanni said enthusiastically. "That's so nice of you. Thank you but you don't have to be any of those for me" Eva said smiling.
"He's your wedding gift from me to you" Cassano said and Eva replied "Thank you but I really don't need him to do all that" Eva said wondering how a human being of such looks and grace could be her chef or chauffeur. Nahh, not possible. That's if he's even Human to start with...
"Okay. But I'll always be by your side Mrs Ming" Giovanni said making Eva smile.
"I'll show you to your room" Giovanni said as he helped Eva carry the few things she took along with her.

While Eva was at Cassano's house, all she did was read books, eat and sleep. The old man never allowed her to do any work.
Two days passed and it was finally the wedding day or rather, wedding night. The wedding was going to take place at night. Eva had never imagined her wedding to be so soon. She hadn't told any of her family members because everything had been happening so quickly than she had ever expected. She expected the wedding to be like a month away from now but it was happening just two days after he proposed. When Eva asked Cassano why it was so early, he told her that Lee Ming wanted to have the wedding in Pezzo Sacro because the place was special to him and he hardly came here. So it was better to do it while they were still here. Lee Ming and Eva hadn't spoken or seen each other for two days, Eva actually hadn't left the house in two days due to Cassano's order. Any worries or questions Eva had about anything, she asked Cassano.

The man was really nice and helpful in everything. Eva was combing her hair when she heard a knock on her door. "You can come in" She said and Cassano walked in. "I wanted to tell you to get ready but I see you are already doing that. Giovanni will bring your dress. Please be patient with him".
"Okay" Eva said with a faint smile and Cassano noticed it. "You don't seem happy as you should be" Cassano said as he walked towards Eva.
"Mm..I'm just worried. For some reason, I feel like Lee Ming is hiding something from me and also the wedding is too early. I haven't told my family yet" Eva said and Cassano sighed and said "I understand how feel but don't worry too much. Whatever it is, it will be fine. Today belongs to you and your husband. I see it in your eyes how much you love him but you haven't told him right?" . Eva sighed in realization and said "I haven't". Eva cursed herself inwardly for accepting to be Lee's wife when they hadn't actually told their true feelings to each other. She knew she liked him but hasn't actually told him. After hearing Eva's reply, Cassano said "You youngsters... Anyway, you are getting married to the man you love. It's a good thing but you both have to fix the crack between you two" the old man said as he walked out of the room. Yes, Cassano wasn't the best at encouraging but what he said was on repeat in Eva's head "You both have to fix the crack between you two".

Few minutes later, Giovanni came into the room with a stunning white gown and a black box in hand. "This is a special gift from your hubby" Giovanni said chuckling as he referred to the box. "I'll leave you to it now" he said as he placed them on her bed and left. Eva who was still sitting in front of the mirror, walked towards the bed and admired the gown. It was truly a sight to behold. The gown  had patterns of flowers on it. It was a heart shaped off shoulder ball gown. The fluffy part of the gown had shiny stones decorated on it and the back had a lace design. It was truly beautiful. Eva then took the black box and opened it to find a necklace. It was made out of Rose quartz gemstone. Rose quartz gemstone was known to purify and open the heart to promote love, friendship, deep inner healing and promote the feeling of peace. Eva was genuinely touched because she had read about this gemstone before and found out that Rose quartz gemstone emits a specific energy that attracts love.
"It's beautiful" Eva said smiling as she admired the necklace. Looking at the necklace for so long, she found out that there was a small note inside the box and read it. "I really hope you like this little gift wifey but I want you to know that even the most beautiful gem cannot compare to your beauty. Can't wait too see you~Your husband".

Eva smiled as read the letter. "He can so sweet sometimes" she said to herself. She finished designing her hair and wore the gown and the necklace. When she was done with dressing up, she walked out of the room and saw Cassano and Giovanni dressed and was waiting for her. "You look amazing" Giovanni confessed and Cassano smiled and placed her bouquet in her hand and tucked some flowers in her hair. "Are you ready?" Cassano asked and Eva nodded her head. Cassano was going to walk down the aisle with her since her father was not present.
