Company matters

After Lee Ming left the room, Eva lay quietly and suddenly the images of him being dead in his past life flashed before her eyes. She feared that the past might repeat itself so she planned to meet with Sir Ming after she gets discharged. Minutes later, the same nurse that came earlier brought another tray of food for her. She knew this nurse was going fatten her up if possible because Lee Ming ordered that she should be fed and treated well. But she wasn't in the mood to eat because of what was on her mind. The events of that day played on her mind as dusk approached and she made up her mind that when she gets out of this hospital, she was going to ask him to show her his true self. Beast, monster, she didn't care anymore. She just wanted to see for herself.

After Lee Ming left the hospital, he met with Hwang Lu at a restaurant. Their purpose of meeting was to discuss matters about the company. Due to Lee's absence from the company lately, something out of the ordinary happened. "So...what is it?" Lee Ming asked Hwang Lu as he unbuttoned his suit. "Sir, the rumors of a vampire in  the company is getting worse. Two days ago a worker was found dead in the basement. Choi Yung Su. He was a worker in the advertising department. Rumor has it that Yung Su always went to the basement after the company has closed for the day. They say he went there to read books for about an hour before he leaves for his home and on that fateful night, a cleaner saw him heading to the basement but she didn't ask him any questions because she knew it was his routine. When she was done cleaning, she went down to the basement and was shocked to see the dead body of Yung Su. According to her words, he was bleeding from his neck and wrist and he had bite marks also." "What the hell is all this?" Lee Ming muttered. "Mmm... I'd send a letter to his family and some money but before that let's keep track of every worker that has the surname Kim. If any one of them happens to be the culprit, we'd know what to do next" Lee Ming said. "Okay sir" Hwang Lu responded. "Anything else?" Lee Ming asked and Hwang Lu shook his head "As of now, nothing else" he answered.

"I'll be going back to the hospital. But before then, I have an important call to make so you can go home" Lee Ming said while taking out his phone. Hwang Lu nodded and left as Lee scrolled through his phone and dialed Zaheer's number. "Sir, Good day to you sir" Zaheer greeted. "How are things over there?" Lee Ming asked. "Things are going well. Just that I almost got caught while spying on Mrs Watson, I'm sure she knew someone was following her that day but she didn't see me though. But everyone's fine" Zaheer concluded. "Okay. I need you to do something. I want her family to come to City F so introduce yourself to them and tell them everything. Well, tell them what they need to know and get back to me" Lee ordered.
"Oh okay. I'll do just that sir" Zaheer said and Lee Ming asked how he was doing and Zaheer answered before the call ended.

Lee Ming wanted Eva's family to be with her now she's pregnant. Since they couldn't be at her wedding. He quickly placed another call to Yu Shao and asked her to prepare rooms as they'll be expecting guests soon.
After that, he sat quietly as he thought about the vampires that attacked him that night. Could it be related to the rumors of a vampire at the company? He asked himself.
He thought about it for a while and decided to go shopping for his unborn child. He didn't know if it was going to be a girl or boy. So he bought clothes for a girl and boy and in the process, he got Eva a nude colored gown. It wasn't too classy but it was elegant. Anyone who saw him at mall admired him for two things. For the fact that he shopped for his unborn child and also the fact that he shopped for his wife. He wasn't acting like himself. Anyone that stood close to him, he'd tell them he was expecting a baby. The act of shopping for Eva and his baby gave him a warm and cozy feeling. He felt like a proper family man and then realization hit him. He had truly changed.
