Ming Hospital

Eva didn't plan on telling Lee that she was in love with him. At least not at that moment, but it had happened and she didn't regret it. After hearing Eva's confession, Lee Ming turned around and held her face in his hands. "My pet loves me..." He said in a low tone as he chuckled. The next second, the smile that was on his face was gone and he let go of her face and walked towards the beach bar. Eva could hardly keep up with his fast pace but she followed him anyway. The bartender was about speak when Lee Ming glared at him. Lee Ming's eyes immediately turned red and right before Eva's eyes, she saw a white mist-like thing slowly come out of the man's mouth. The bartender struggled and fell to the floor as his soul was being taken away from his body. "Do you see the kind of creature I am now?!" Lee Ming said as he turned around to face Eva. Eva was dumbstruck as she had not seen this side of Lee Ming before. His eyes had turned blood red and given the fact that he was taking away that man's soul, he was different from the Lee Ming she knew. 
"It's okay Lee. Please stop! That man has nothing to do with this" Eva shouted as she walked closer to Lee. "Stop. Don't come close now, I might hurt you" Lee Ming said but Eva didn't listen. "You won't hurt me" she said as she walked closer and right before her eyes, Lee Ming's fingers turned into sharp claws. But luckily, his attention was taken away from the bartender and his soul that had not been completely taken away from his body, returned.

Eva felt her fingers shake after she saw Lee's fingers turn. Lee walked up to her and raised his hands for her to see. "Can you see? This is the man you choose to be with? You still have a chance, you can leave now" Lee Ming said and more tears ran down Eva's eyes.
She took hold of his hand and said "Yes!!...and I want you to know that I do not care. If this is what you are then we'll work with it. For better for worse remember?". After hearing her words, Lee Ming's eyes began to change back to blue and Eva hugged him tightly after noticing it. Pulling out from the hug, Lee Ming saw that Eva's hands were injured and bleeding in some places. He looked at his hands which were now back to normal and figured out that he must have injured Eva while she held his hands before.

"I'm sorry. I hurt you" Lee Ming said not able to look at Eva in the eyes as he cleaned her blood stained hands.  Eva looked at her injured hand and said "It's okay. Let's go home". "Wait Eva. Do you really want to do this?" Lee Ming asked and Eva smiled slightly and answered "It's me and you till the end". They both smiled and when they were about to leave, Lee Ming took the bartender along with them because the man already knew his secret so taking him along with them was the only option because unfortunately, Lee Ming didn't have the power to wipe memories if not that would have been a better option. Though, the man fell unconscious after his soul merged again with his body.

On their way home, Eva felt very uneasy. "Are you okay?" Lee Ming asked with a worried expression. "I just feel really nauseous" Eva answered as she stared out the window. "I'm sorry" Lee Ming said, not knowing how to comfort her or make her feel better. "Thank you" Eva smiled gently. As they continued to drive, her uneasiness didn't go away. Instead, it got worse. Unable to handle it anymore, she asked Lee Ming to pull over and she got out of the car and puked on roadside. Frantically, Lee Ming got out of the car and tapped Eva on her back to make her feel better. She felt terribly weak but luckily they had a bottle of water in the car and Lee Ming handed it over to her.
Getting inside the car again, Lee Ming said "We are going to the hospital".
"I really don't need to go to the hospital. It's probably because I ate too much" Eva uttered in a weak tone. "Regardless, we are going" Lee Ming said and Eva didn't retort anymore.
It was dusk when they arrived at the hospital. It was the same hospital he took her the time his driver hit her with his car. He walked into the hospital with Eva in his hands though she was conscious. After seeing who barged into the hospital, the nurses quickly attended to him by listening to his account of what happened to Eva and in a millisecond, Eva was placed on a stretcher. As Eva was being wheeled into a room, she heard several nurses say "The boss is here" and she wondered if it was Lee Ming they spoke about.

Few minutes later, a doctor came to attend to Eva as Lee Ming waited frantically in the waiting room. He sat there for hours and when he was about to loose his patience, the doctor came out and walked up to him. "Young master Ming. If I may ask, who's the woman to you?". Lee Ming's and Eva's wedding was only known by a few people so it wasn't surprising that the man asked. "She's...she's my wife. What happened to her? Is she okay?" Lee Ming asked nervously. The doctor, doctor Choi Lee was quite surprised to see the young master show his emotions but didn't react. "After all, she's his wife" Doctor Choi Lee thought. "Congratulations Mr Ming. Your wife is pregnant!" The doctor said grinning.
