Arriving back at their house, Eva went straight to her room. The room she stayed before getting married to Lee Ming. She wanted to be alone at that time. There were alot of things on her mind. How she escaped rape and everything Sir Ming had told her. She knew there was more to the story but it would be told some other day. She was exhausted and took off her clothes before going into the bathroom to take a shower. Meanwhile, Lee Ming and Hwang Lu were thinking of ways to solve their problems. Liu Jang and that woman that wanted him dead. Lee Ming knew that soon, one of them was going to come for him again or more importantly, come for Eva and he didn't want that.

The least he wanted at that moment was her being involved in all this mess. After getting home, he talked with Hwang Lu on how they were going to increase the security in their home and company. Not just with his normal human bodyguards but also creatures like himself and Hwang Lu because it wasn't only Eva that needed protection but also Yu Shao. After a while, Giovanni joined their conversation and was more than willing to help. "I'd do everything I can to protect your wife and Yu Shao" Giovanni said to Lee Ming and he nodded his head and said "Thank you".

After talking for a while, Giovanni left their presence to help Yu Shao out in the kitchen as she was preparing dinner. "I know you want to protect everyone around you but don't forget to protect yourself" Hwang Lu said to Lee Ming. "Mmmn" came Lee Ming's reply before standing up from the couch. Lee Ming went to his room but didn't find Eva there. He was worried about her and how she might be feeling after everything that happened that day. He then went in search for her in her room and found her there. She was lying on the bed staring at the walls as her mind wandered. She was so absentminded that she didn't notice when Lee Ming walked in until she heard his voice.

"Eva?" He called out as he walked towards the bed. She quickly sat up straight after hearing his voice. "Yes. Is there a problem?" She asked while Lee Ming sat at the edge of the bed. "You weren't in our room. Are you okay?. Today was alot for you" He asked genuinely concerned about her. "I just wanted some time alone." She sighed. "But I'm also thinking about alot of things " she continued. Lee Ming stared at her eyes as he wanted to know how she was really feeling through her eyes. He saw how much she was holding back but he didn't know how to make her tell him everything that was bothering her. "If it's about Mr Ludwig. I can assure you that he'll be dealt it. So please don't worry about anything. I'd do everything I can to keep you from danger and anything that will make you sad. I promise" He said as he moved closer to her. Eva stared at him as she wondered if he knew how much his words affected her and how sweet he sounded at that point. She just wanted to hold him tight and kiss him but she couldn't bring herself to do it. She knew perfectly how much she loved him but she was worried if he felt the same way. Though she saw how concerned he was, she didn't know how to tell him that she wasn't only thinking about Ludwig but she was thinking about his past. A past that he only remembered vaguely.
"You have been making alot of promises lately" Eva said smiling and Lee Ming smiled back at her as he was glad to finally see her smile.
"Well that's because it's you. I'd make sure to keep all of my promises Eva" He said as he held her face in his palm. "I love you" Eva said inwardly.
"Thank you" Eva said instead as she took his hand and kissed it. "That's not the right way" Lee Ming said with a smirk. "Ohh really? Then show me the right way" Eva said biting her lips. "My sexy pet" Lee Ming growled before capturing her lips with his.
The kiss was slow, true and passionate. "Lee.." Eva moaned in between the kiss. "Shh...allow me" he said as he made her straddle him and he gently pushed his tongue inside her mouth and intertwined it with his. He sucked on her lips, her tongue. He always kissed her the way she liked. Eva felt a sensation building up in her lower abdomen and she was sure Lee Ming felt the same way because he started to undo the buttons of her pyjama. But their moment got ruined.

"I'm so sorry boss. I'm sorry ma'am. I didn't know you both were here. I was searching for Mrs Ming earlier and decided to check here. Please forgive me!" Yu Shao said as she covered her eyes and quickly closed the door. She was searching for Eva earlier and didn't find her anywhere and decided to check here. She didn't expect that she would stumble upon Lee Ming and Eva making out intensely.
