The moment Lee left, Eva felt like a part of her had left. She had really missed him while he was away. "If I had known he was going to leave, I should have just answered honestly" Eva said to herself as she slammed her hand on her forehead. "He said to was going to be come back soon. So you'll see him again in a few hours" Eva kept saying to herself, wanting to give herself hope that he'll be back in a few minutes or few hours. But no matter how hard she tried to console herself, she felt she messed this up. This time, it felt really painful watching him leave because if she hadn't told him to pick the call, they would probably be in each other's arms or something else would have happened.

Eva spent the whole day watching movies in the room as she waited for Lee Ming. It was already 4:00pm and Eva was wondering why he took so long outside. She really wanted to text him but changed her mind. It was now past 7:00pm and Eva had just finished eating dinner and wanted to go bed. But at the same time, she really wanted to wait till whenever Lee Ming comes back home. She went back to the room and sat on a chair close to the window. The moonlight shined brightly and the night breeze blew her hair in different directions as she suddenly remembered her father. She didn't know if he was alive or dead. Yes Tae Ming promised to send her doctor to treat Mr. Watson, but she hadn't heard anything about her father since then. Eva began to wonder if he was well now because her mother never talked about her father's situation whenever they spoke. Eva inhaled the cool night breeze and sighed. Lee Ming had occupied her mind so much lately that she didn't even think before now if her father was okay or not. "Dad, I'm sorry and I miss you" Eva said in a low voice as a tear ran down her cheeks. Eva then remembered that none of her family members knew she was now married. She somehow found it hard to tell because it all happened so fast that it still surprised her.

She was kinda happy it was Lee Ming she got married to because she had feelings for him. But she still wasn't sure of his feelings for her and it bothered her. "But why would you marry someone you dont have feelings for? Or perhaps he does like me?" Eva said as the thoughts of Lee Ming and her father filled her head. "All of this is making me worried. Really worried" Eva said as she placed her feet on the chair she was sitting on and hugged her knees as tears dropped from her eyes. She didn't know how long she stayed in that position but she fell asleep there.
The sound of the door opening jolted Eva from her sleep. She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hands and placed her feet on the ground as she heard footsteps. "Ouch" she cried out when her feet touched the ground, because of how long she had stayed in her previous sleeping position, her legs and neck were hurting. "You shouldn't have slept that way. The bed is right here" Eva heard Lee Ming's voice say. She turned around to find him taking off his cloak he quickly grabbed while he was leaving in the morning. She felt relieved seeing him and tried to stand up from the chair but her legs gave her away as it still hurt. "Don't move" Lee Ming said as he walked towards her. The light in the room was switched off and the only source of light was the moonlight. It shined brightly on Eva's beautiful face making her look alluring. The moment he got to her, he held her small face in his hands as he used his thumb to caress her cheeks. "You were crying?" Lee Ming asked after noticing the tear marks on her face. "No. I wasn't" Eva said not wanting to tell him why she was crying because if she had said yes, he definitely would have asked why. "You're a bad liar you know" He said and Eva was quiet for a while as she darted her eyes. "What time is it?" Eva asked looking back at him. "It's past midnight."
"Why did you come back so late?" Eva asked genuinely concerned. "Don't change the topic. Why were you crying?" Lee Ming asked really worried about her. He couldn't lie, when he saw the moonlight shining on her, she looked liked a goddess in his eyes and it ignited a fire in him. But when he walked closer to find the tear marks on her face, the fire quenched and all he felt was something tugging at his heart. He didn't like seeing those marks on her face. He wanted to put an end to whatever made her cry. Unbeknownst to him that one of the reasons was him.

Eva contemplated within herself before saying "I'm worried about my father. He was sick before I left City A". Lee Ming was quiet for a while as he recalled that Hwang Lu had mentioned something like this to him a certain time ago but said that Tae Ming handled it. Lee Ming released a gentle smile at Eva before assuring her "I'm sure he would be fine. So don't worry". Eva stared at him with her doe blue eyes as tears threatened to fall from them but she held it in before smiling at him. "Is that the only reason you were crying?" He asked as he suspected there was more. "Oh uhm.. yes" Eva said as she looked away from his eyes. Lee Ming felt that was more but since she didn't want to say it, he won't pressure her. "Okay" he said as he sweeped her up in his arms and carried her and placed her on the bed. "Go to bed" he said as the walked towards the closet to take off his other clothes to put on a robe. "I want to take my bath first" Eva said in a tone loud enough for him to hear. He walked out of the closet and said "We can do that together". Hearing his shameless words made Eva's cheeks turn red and she quickly said "No you can go first". Lee Ming smirked before walking in the direction of the bathroom.

After they had both taken their baths separately, Eva was glued to her side of the bed. She was so stiff and it indicated that she was nervous about sleeping on the same bed with him. Lee Ming who lay facing the ceiling could sense the nervousness around her "This is not the first time we are sleeping on the same bed. Why are you so stiff this time?" He uttered facing her. She had her back facing him and Lee Ming didn't like that. "Look at me" he demanded and she carefully turned to face him. His hair was still a bit damp from his bath and his long lashes fluttered as he stared at her. Eva didn't know the moment she stared blushing again and it didn't escape Lee Ming's eyes. "Come closer" he ordered as he enjoyed her facial reaction.
She moved at bit closer but he wasn't satisfied with it. "Closer" he said again and she moved a bit closer again. There was still some space between them and Lee Ming wanted her to cover that space. But right now, she was acting like a scared puppy. He then took her by the hand and pulled her closer to him until their bodies touched.
