Lee Ming's Attackers

On the other side of City F, a woman in her  early thirties was sitting in her office with a smug look on her face as her aura emitted nothing but anger and bloodlust. The young man standing in front of her had his knees stiff because of the deadly look that was painted on his boss' face.

"So Duke Ming thinks he can find happiness after what he did to me?" The woman said and scoffed. "He must be dreaming!" She continued.

"Madam Su, what are you going to do next?" The young man asked as he looked onto the scary woman before him. Miss Su was quiet for a while before saying;
"Tae In. I made a promise to my son, to avenge his death and that's exactly what I'm going to do."

"But Madam Su, Duke Ming isn't the same. I heard he's living a normal life now as the new CEO of ESCORP" Tae In, Miss Su's personal assistant said.

"Don't think slowly Tae In. I have the perfect plan. I know Duke Ming has changed and isn't the same person as he was in the past and I also know that in this lifetime, Sir Ming is his father. You see that little human girl following Duke Ming around...I'll use her to bring him down. Little by Little" Miss Su said with a smirk on her face.

"Do you mean Eva Watson?" Tae In asked with a confused look on his face and Miss Su nodded her head.

Tae In darted his eyes for some time as he tried to make sense of what his boss was planning. So Miss Su deliberately asked Sir Ming to get Eva a job in ESCORP as part of her big plan. She indeed wanted to use Eva to gain revenge over Duke Ming who was now Lee Ming. Tae In wanted to ask Miss Su another question but was shut up by Miss Su before he could ask.
"Tae In stop asking too many questions and get to work" Miss Su said and she dismissed her assistant.

Miss Su was the Managing Director of a Shoe Company in City F. It was one of the well known shoe companies in City F. Miss Su was meant to give Eva a job in that same company but instead, asked Sir Ming to offer Eva a job in ESCORP as part of her big revenge plan.

Eva sighed as she laid on the bed and thought of what just happened. It all just came to her. She did like him. She wanted him but he probably didn't want the same. He only saw her as a Pet. "A plaything?"  Eva asked herself. She concluded in her heart to stay away from him. But this time, to stay away from him to reduce her feelings for him. So she thought.

Lee Ming was sitting in his study after he took a cold bath. His hair was still damp and he had his phone in his hand. His father just sent him a text recommending a love test game for Lee Ming to play on his phone. Lee Ming felt all this was childish and wasn't necessary. He had read the definition of love already and felt someone like him wasn't capable of loving a person. After all, Eva was already his and there was no need to take anything further. So he thought.

He went further to do some work because there were alot of work documents on his table in his study. About four hours later, Yu Shao knocked on the door. Lee Ming ordered her to open it. Yu Shao then walked in. "Dinner would soon be served. Also, you have guests waiting in the garden" Yu Shao said and she walked out of the study. Guests? At this time of the night?. The time was about 10:56pm. The time really ran fast these days.

Lee Ming sighed as he straightened up and walked out of his study. He walked to the garden and his eyes fell on three strange people. Lee Ming sensed that these three people weren't normal and they didn't come to joke either. He folded his arms as he asked them "Who are you?". The men had their face covered with strange masks  and they were all wearing black. They were silent as if they didn't hear Lee Ming. Lee Ming scoffed as he said to  them "You came to my house in the middle of the night and you are keeping silent when I asked you a question....How brave! Speak up now while I'm still patient". The three men were still silent but then, they charged towards Lee Ming. Lee Ming wasn't surprised as he had felt the murderous intent coming from these three the moment he saw them. The weather changed and suddenly the heavens opened and rain started pouring heavily. The first man came at Lee Ming with lightening speed confirming Lee Ming's thought that these men were vampires. But before the man could lay a finger on him, Lee Ming caught him by his neck and was squeezing the air out of him. He then threw the guy on the floor with a loud thud. Where the guy landed had a little crater because of the impact he had with the floor. The man was groaning as he began to spit blood.

The second man had doubts about fighting this man. He saw what he did to their leader and wasn't quite ready to receive the same fate. His feet was glued to the ground and the third man said some curse words to him before charging at Lee Ming. He punched Lee Ming in his gut but it had no effect on him. Lee Ming smiled at the man and did the same thing to him as he did to the so called leader. When the third man landed on the floor, Lee Ming knelt down and placed his thumb on the man's forehead. Slowly, high screams came from the third vampire as what they didn't expect started happening. The Vampire's soul dissipated slowly from him and vanished into thin air.

The second man was about to faint on the spot as he has never witnessed something like this before. He saw his colleague's soul come out of his body and vanished into thin air. The leader of the group who was injured and scared out of his witts  and crawled towards the second man. Lee Ming chuckled and stepped on the right foot of the leader that was crawling. The second Vamp heard the bones of the leader's feet and ankle crush. The man released a loud groan and started begging for mercy. "Sir, we are very sorry. Please...ohh..please let us go" The leader wailed. "Oh you can talk now. Well, it's too late!" Lee Ming said as he applied more force on the already broken ankle and the man closed his eyes and spat more blood.
He then looked at the soulless body of their group member and said "Please..we are sorry". Lee Ming stopped stepping on him and took off his mask. Not because he had mercy on them but because he wanted to relay a message to them. He took off the guy's mask. As expected of a vampire, the guy had good looks but he had a huge scar running from his left eyebrow to his right cheek. Normally when a vampire gets injured, it heals in a matter of seconds and the scar goes away but something was up with this guy. Maybe he was half vampire. " Go tell whoever sent you not to make a mistake like this again. Or else, I won't let you live next time" Lee Ming said and gave a death glare to the second man who had be unmoving since they got to Lee Ming's abode.

The leader looked like a half dead drenched puppy as he held his broken feet and ankle. The second man helped the leader up and they took the soulless body of their group member and they fled from Lee Ming. Lee Ming turned around and saw Hwang Lu and Yu Shao staring at him. They looked unfazed. Lee Ming walked up to Yu Shao and said "Get someone to clean this place up in the morning". Yu Shao nodded and said "Dinner is served by the way". "I'll go clean up first" Lee Ming said because he had blood stains on his clothes and was soaked by the rain. Hwang Lu trotted behind him before asking "Who were they?". "I don't know but someone sent them" Lee Ming replied. "Why didn't you ask them?" Hwang Lu said

"I'll still find out sooner or later. Don't worry" Lee Ming said. In that same instant, there was a loud thunder that shook the foundations of the house and Lee Ming remembered Eva. "Is she asleep?" Lee Ming asked Hwang Lu but the man shrugged and said "I'll go check now".
