Feeling Tae Ming's tap on his shoulder, Lee Ming pulled out of the kiss. "Wait till you get home" Tae Ming said to Lee Ming before walking away. Lee Ming and Eva then went to their seats after the dance and the party continued as they ate and made merry. Amidst the mirth in the atmosphere, Eva couldn't deny the fact that her mind was occupied. How did Sir Ming turn out to be the King? Eva wanted to believe that Sir Ming was the reincarnated version of the King but the more she looked at the man, the more she felt like they were exactly the same person. When she had the dream and saw Li Ming in the forest with the girl who looked like her, there was a slight difference between him and the current Lee Ming. It was their hair and their voice but they were certainly the same person or rather, Lee Ming was the reincarnated version of Duke Ming but when it came to Sir Ming, there was no difference between Sir Ming and the king at all. Not even in the slightest way and it bothered her. Eva glanced at Lee Ming who was sitting close to her and she wondered what and who he really was and also what and who Sir Ming really was. She wanted to know the truth but she didn't know how she was going to get it.

The party finally came to an end and the guests were on their way out and Eva was wondering how she was going to talk to Sir Ming and ask him about everything she saw. "I'm coming back" Lee Ming said as a whisper to Eva before walking towards Hwang Lu. "Any updates on her father?" Lee Ming asked the moment he was standing in front of Hwang Lu.
"Yes. The man is in good condition now, Tae Ming's friend Lei Huang treated him. But the problem was that he was poisoned and it wasn't just any kind of poison. This one was meant to slowly destroy his organs. Whoever poisoned him wanted to watch him live a torturous life before dying. I'm surprised the man is perfectly fine now. For someone who had some of his organs damaged." Hwang Lu said earning a scowl from Lee Ming. "That's not all. Her mother is trying to find out who did it and she's putting herself in danger by doing so" Hwang Lu continued and Lee Ming sighed before saying "Tell Zaheer to go back to City A and keep an eye on Eva's family". "Okay" Hwang Lu said before walking away to find Zaheer.

Eva was in search for Sir Ming and finally saw him at their mini bar which was close to the party hall. Sir Ming was gulping down a glass of Chinese whiskey when Eva finally got to him. Upon seeing her, he turned and placed his glass that was now empty on the bar table. Eva's face was covered with worry and Sir Ming couldn't help but ask "Is there something on your mind my child?". Eva continued to stare at the man as he looked exactly like the King from her dream. She mustered up courage and said "Sir Mi-I mean, Dad. There's something I need to talk to you about and I want you to tell me the truth". Staring into Eva's eyes, searching for the unknown, Sir Ming said "Of course I'll tell you the truth. What do you want to know?". Eva looked around to make sure no one is nearby listening to their conversation before she threw the question at Sir Ming "Are you a king?". Hearing Eva's question made Sir Ming silent for a while before he released a short lived chuckle. Eva wondered why the man chuckled but she wasn't going to back down anyway. She needed answers. "I mean...Were you a king? I don't really know what to ask but I saw you...in my dream. You were a king and we both mourned Lee Ming" Eva said, reducing the tone of her voice when she uttered the words "mourned Lee Ming".

"Calm down and clear your mind. I'll tell you what you want to know" Sir Ming said with a serious expression.
