Series of Dreams 2

Eva went to her room in Lee Ming's house after dinner. She laid on her bed as she thought of the second dream she had that day. The dream setting was Lee Ming's room. She was lying on Lee's bed and Lee Ming was lying sideways on the bed staring at her. Eva smiled at him and Lee Ming said "I just want you, I want you all to myself". In a split second, he was hovering over her and soon, his lips landed hard on hers. They kissed each other like hungry Lions and she woke up to find herself in Lee Ming's room. This dream happened just before she went downstairs to find Yu Shao with a tray of food for Lee.

Eva slammed her head as she remembered the dream. She had two strange dreams in one day. "I think I'll just stay away from him for a while then maybe all these strange dreams will come to an end...yess...that's what I'll do" Eva concluded in her mind.

As she lay on the bed, she couldn't stop thinking about the two dreams she had..."Strange" was the only word she could use to describe those dreams. Eva was finding it hard to sleep so she called her mother. In one ring, her mother picked the call.
"My angel, how are you doing in City F?" Kelly Watson asked her daughter
"Mum I'm doing good" Eva said in a flat tone
"Are you okay?" Her mum asked
"Yes mum" Eva answered and her mother was silent for a while before saying "Eva...". Eva sighed as she knew that whenever her mum called her name like that means she should say the truth. "Well, I have a boy problem" Eva said and her mum squealed on the other side of the phone. "My baby Eva. I heard City F has the most handsome men in the whole of Asia. Have you found someone? Wait... Is he giving you problems? He shouldn't even dare!" My mum said with excitement and care obvious in her voice.
"Mum, you were against me making male friends in City A. Why the change of heart now?" Eva asked smiling
"Eva baby. Try and understand your mother. You see, I heard City F has really handsome men and the men are also wealthy. You hardly see men in City A that fall under that category perfectly." Her mother said with a huge smile on her face.
"So that's why you made me travel there once we had the money. Anyways be careful how you talk about the men in City A. I mean, if they hear you say this about them they might just tell some gangsters to beat you to a pulp on your way to the restaurant" Eva said laughing. She knew her mother had used the money Zaheer gave them to start her restaurant.
"They can't do anything to me. I'm not the one who asked them not to fall into the category perfectly" Her mother said. "Anyways, tell me about this boy problem" Her mother continued
"Well I did meet someone but his actions at times are confusing. I don't know if he does like me or not. He gives me alot of green flags but suddenly he changes and gives me a huge red flag" Eva said as the previous smile on her face vanished
"Eva?" Her mum called out to her
"Yes?" Eva replied
"Do you like him?" Her mum asked
"Uhmm... I don't know. Wait, it's not like I don't know. I mean...I do miss him when I'm away from him. My heart beats faster anytime he looks at me or anytime I see him and I do want to be with him but his character at times makes me want to stay away." Eva said but her mum was silent. In a few seconds, she heard little sobs coming from the other end of the phone. "Mum!!" Eva said as she knew her mother was feigning tears.
"Eva listen to me very carefully okay" her mother finally said and Eva said "ok"
"You see, if you are unsure about how you feel, I'll advice you to test yourself. Stay away from him for a few days and if you don't care or feel the need to be around him, you don't like him. Also, if you see him with another woman and you don't even feel a tiny bit of jealousy, you don't like him. Let's start with those two first. Okay?" Her mother said
"Ok mum. Thank you" Eva said.
"My baby it's late. You and I have to go to sleep now ok. Goodnight" Her mother said
"Sure. Goodnight" Eva said and ended the call.

She actually felt better after the call and decided to try and sleep but she heard and a sound of something falling to the ground outside her door. She felt that there was no need to worry about it since it might be Yu Shao who fell something and of course it was.

Yu Shao was walking to Lee Ming's study to give him some documents he left at the living room when she heard Eva's voice. "I have a boy problem". Yu Shao was not intending to eavesdrop but it was too tempting because she knew Eva was talking about nobody else but Lee Ming. Yu Shao placed her ear on Eva's door as she listened.  Yu Shao had a big smile on her face when Eva said she misses Lee Ming anytime she's away from him and how her heart beats faster anytime Lee looks at her and anytime she sees him. Yu Shao heard Eva say Goodnight to her mother and decided to walk away when she missed her step. She didn't fall but the documents in her hand did. Yu Shao picked them up quickly and ran to Lee Ming's study. She knocked on the door and Lee Ming opened it just to find Yu Shao sweating. Yu Shao noticed Lee Ming's intense glare at her and just smiled.
"Are you okay?" Lee Ming asked and Yu Shao nodded and walked into his study and arranged the documents on his table.
"Uhmm...Lee Ming can I ask you something?" Yu Shao said and he nodded
Yu Shao was scared to bring the question out of her mouth but she did....

In a few minutes..
Yu Shao walked out of Lee Ming's study with a smile on her face before heading to the servants quarters.
