"Zhongli! Today's the day our fellow Adeptus is freed from the clutches of the hospital!" Venti sang happily.
"Indeed, it is." Zhongli replied, "I suppose we can throw a celebration for her."
"Suppose?! We have to!" Venti corrected.
"Right, but we must wait first."
"They're running one last test, right?"
"Correct. I believe it was the physical examination." Zhongli replied, "It won't take long."
"Ooh! I'll go buy the decorations and the food!" Venti exclaimed, jumping up from his seat.
"With your own Mora."
"..."
"Right...?" Zhongli smiled.
"Y-yes...I'll buy it myself..." Venti chuckled in defeat.
"Then get going, and make it fast."
"...Roger."
As quick as the wind, Venti teleported without another word. Leaving Zhongli alone in the waiting room.
Although not visible, Zhongli was excited for Rera's recovery. He made plans for every single lesson and every single outing that they will do in the future.
"I suppose Loki is correct. I am having quite a lot of fun and every activity that I do is interesting. Becoming a teacher has made me nervous, but I feel a faint attachment to this occupation."

"Hmm...I wonder what is taking so long. It's been an hour or two and I still haven't heard any-"

"That's Rera's voice!"
Immediately getting up, Zhongli ran towards the room that Rera is in. Following the sound of her voice, Zhongli busted through the door.
Bam!
"Rera! Are you alright?!" Zhongli asked worriedly.
Looking at the scene in front of him, Zhongli stared at the doctor, Zihan, in pure rage. Rera was huddled in a corner with Zihan being a few feet away from her, holding a syringe with a strangely colored liquid.
"Ah! Sir Zhongli." Zihan smiled, "What are you-"
"Back away from the child. Now."
Dropping her smile, Zihan slowly backed away from Rera, allowing Zhongli to run towards her. He knelt down on one knee and patted her head.
"She hasn't hurt you right?"
"N-no..."
"But you're shaking so violently..." Zhongli muttered.
