Standing in the Roseweiss library, Rera reads a book on the monsters of Teyvat. She and Loki were mistaken about the Cryo Regisvine, so she decided to read more into the monsters.

Similar to the Regisvine, boss monsters will only appear when exposed to a large amount of Elemental Energy.

Loki sat at one of the tables, leaning in his chair as he stared at the ceiling. He took notice of the designs, seeing murals and generations of the Roseweiss family's history. Yet it remained a mystery of how the first Roseweiss came to be.

"Loki."

"Yes?"

"Do you think I should start training with the other elements?" She asked, walking up to him as she put her book on the table.

"It would be nice. But didn't the midget say something about the color of your soul being your decided element? Just focus on that. Why care about the rest?"

"It's more efficient. But remember what he said after? Something....about black smoke?"

"Smoke?"

"..."

That caught his attention. Loki stopped leaning in his chair and thought about it. There was a possibility that his power lingered within her soul when Rera first used his Shadows. But it was only temporary. The only other smoke that he knows of is...

Suddenly, Loki stood up from his chair, causing it to screech against the floor. Rera was surprised by how quickly he got up and raised a brow.

"Uh...are you ok-"

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine." He smiled forcefully. "Y'know, I think it's a great idea to practice the other elements!"

"Loki, you-"

"How about this?" He interrupted, "You go on and practice while I go to Wangshu for a bit?"

"...Do you want me to blow up this place-"

"Get it? Good! Now then, I will be back soon!"

He left before Rera could speak another word, disappearing into his Shadows. She was confused by the urgency and the obvious façade he put on. Nevertheless, Rera closed her book and put it back on its shelf. She let out a long sigh as she walked to the training grounds.

(A few hours later, afternoon)

Curious about the loud sounds coming from the training grounds, Erith and Rinea went to check it out. When they came, they were shocked by the sight they saw.

The area was nearly covered with several elements. There were ice chunks on the ground, pools of water drenched the dirt, bits of plants scattered about, and two bushes were caught on fire.

Rera raised her hand, focusing Pyro into her Adeptal energy as it shot from her palm. A ball of fire formed and flew forward a few feet. But before it could hit something, it dissipated and lost its form.

"Rera?"

"Ah, good afternoon Miss Rinea!" Rera smiled.

"Rera, please don't destroy this house." Erith sighed, burning away the ice, water, and plants.

"Woah...! How do you control Pyro like that?!"

"Huh? I can't really explain it..."

"Erith, you should teach her!" Rinea smiled, putting out the bushfires. "You can control Pyro well."
