Although you may seem unthreatening, it does not mean that you are incapable of reaching your true potential
Collapsing back onto the couch, Rera slouched her arms on the pillow. Transferring Adeptal Energy into objects was not an easy task. But as for her first try...it seemed to be good enough.
"Whew...I never thought it'd take this much time..." Rera groaned.
"..."
"I wonder if Loki's doing okay...I haven't spoken to him for a while."
"..."
Looking outside of the window, Rera pondered. She pondered about reaching out to Loki. They are best friends after all, would it be too rude for her to try and talk about this? Rera isn't sure. She doesn't know how to help. It was just like...before...

(Flashback to ???)
Shutting her eyes, Rera found herself back in the past. Back when everything was wrong. In a noisy playground, Rera sat alone with her back pressed against a tree. She observed the other children, watching as they flailed around like idiots. Well...that's what it seemed to her.
"Huh...? What's going on? Why am I back here...I don't want to see. I don't want to remember."
As she stared off into the distance, she was spooked by a young boy.
"BOO!" He yelled.
"WAH!" Rera screamed.
"Haha! Gotcha!"
"..."
"I should really punch you..." Rera grumbled angrily.
Sitting next to her, Rera scooted away from the loud boy. But he kept moving next to her.
"Tch. What do you want?"
"Let's play! It's not fun if one of my friends is sitting alone!"
"I don't care. Go away and play with those idiotic friends of yours." Rera sneered.
"I know you're some rich girl and that you're very smart, but you seem so lonely."
"Again. Go away. Your idiocy is going to make me stupid."
"Ooh! Let's play tag!" He smiled as he stood up, "Tag!"
"HEY-"
Before Rera could make a single remark, the boy ran away as fast as he could.
"***!" Rera yelled after the boy.
"..."
"Huh? What was his name again? I'm sure I still remember that idiot's name...but why? Why can't I..."
As fast as it happened, Rera found herself in a familiar classroom. She stared at an empty seat. It was empty for weeks. The boy who sat there hasn't returned since that day.
"No...I don't want to remember this part...!"
The door to the classroom opened slowly. Picking up on the sound, Rera looked up to see the boy standing there. He looked so sad. His eyes were puffy and red like he cried for hours on end.
Blinking once more, Rera found herself standing next to his desk. For the entire class, the boy had his head down. Not making a sound or any movement other than his breathing. Rera remembered that this boy was an energetic popular kid. Sometimes pulling off dumb pranks and telling crappy jokes. It was odd to see such a happy kid turn to this.
