"Rera?" Zhongli softly spoke, gently shaking the sleeping child. "It is time to wake up."
"5...more...minutes..." Rera mumbled, pushing his hand away.
"...If you do not get up, then Xiao will-"
"I'm up!" Rera shouted, springing up from her bed. "I'll get ready!"
Darting towards the closet, Rera took out her clothes and ran towards the bathroom, slamming the door behind her.
Bam!
"...Breakfast is on the table," Zhongli mentioned, "Do not eat it too fast."
"Got it!" Rera shouted behind the door.

(10 minutes later)
Inside of the manmade elevator, Rera paced around in circles. She was excited to train, especially if it was from her favorite character. Noticing how energetic she was, Zhongli smiled to himself.
Ding!
As the elevator's doors slowly opened, Rera ran out immediately, heading towards the balcony of the 5th floor. Arriving in front of the doorway, Rera could see the dark-haired Adeptus standing in front of her with his back turned.
"Good morning! Xiao!" Rera shouted, holding in her excitement.
"Hmph, you're early. Are you that eager to train your power?" Xiao spoke, walking towards her.
"Now, now," Zhongli chuckled, "When someone greets you, you must say it back."
"Right!" Rera nodded.
"..."
"...Good morning." Xiao sighed, annoyed.
"How do we start? How do we start!?" Rera asked excitedly.
"Calm down. It's barely 6 in the morning."
"How do we start?!" Rera asked once again.
"Rera," Zhongli spoke, catching her attention, "I have somewhere to be today. I will return soon."
"Then it'll take you three hours to leave and come back..." Rera mentioned, "Are you sure?"
"It is alright, I have quite a lot of stamina."
"...If you say so..."
"I won't be gone for long, so please be patient." Zhongli smiled warmly, patting her head.
"Please be safe."
"I will, and Xiao..." Zhongli paused, walking towards Xiao.
"Yes, my lord?
Whispering into his ear, Xiao nodded to whatever Zhongli said. But Rera could see a troubled expression on his face, almost as if he was-
"Well then, I suppose I shall get going." Zhongli spoke, turning away from Xiao. "Rera don't overdo it, alright?"
"Got it!"
And with that, Zhongli disappeared into the elevator, descending, and away from sight. Leaving the two Adepti alone on the balcony. Glancing at each other, it was only then that Rera saw how intimidating Xiao was. Perhaps it was because of what Zhongli said.
"Try not to panic too much." He spoke.
"Pardon?"
Waving his hand, a sudden gale of Anemo encircled both of them. Surprised by the draft of Anemo, Rera closed her eyes and covered her face with her arms. However, Xiao did not seem bothered in the slightest and kept still.
