Keep your emotions as calm as a flowing river, and your determination as strong as the raging waters.

Sitting in the bathtub, Rera hugs her knees close to her chest. She stares into the water, watching as her hair floats above it. Last night was a complete blur. She did not remember anything after someone sang her to sleep. It was almost like her memory was wiped.

Knock Knock Knock!

"My lady?" Loki called, "It's been a while since you got in, are you alright?"

"Yeah..." She mumbled.

"...You had a nightmare again?"

"..."

"I can tell." Loki huffed, sitting down in front of the door with his back against it. "You have bags under your eyes."

"Heh, I can't keep anything from you huh?" Rera scoffed.

"That's why we're best friends, right?"

"..."

"What was the nightmare about?" Loki asked.

"...It was about him again."

"I see..."

"I still can't forgive myself. I did so many horrible things to him just to push him away." Rera spoke, looking at her hands. "Heh, and who would've thought that he'd die on the same day when I said that."

"My lady, it's not your fault-"

"I think it will be my fault if I was the one who caused Rai to be bullied."

"You may have exposed him, but you weren't the one who did all of the damage. It's been years, you can't keep getting stuck up on it forever."

"But he was my first ever friend that didn't push me away...he stayed and didn't care how much of a terrible person I am..."

"..."

Biting down on his tongue, Loki failed to come up with a response. He has lived for several millennia, witnessing thousands of deaths. Even the very few mortals whom he had befriended had succumbed to time. But he knew that Rera could overcome this pain. He just had to keep comforting her, right?

"My lady, you're like a sad puppy." Loki huffed.

"What." She replied in an annoyed tone. Stepping out of the bathtub.

"Yeah, you talk a big game. Hell, you sometimes mean what you say. But me and Rai saw through your big act."

"..."

"You're afraid, and there is nothing wrong with that. You've hurt a lot of people, but that was because you didn't want them to come close."

"..."

Changing into her clothes, Rera listened as Loki continued speaking. Bit by bit, Rera couldn't hear his voice. Only focusing on her past actions against Rai. Her warm memories of him were warping into her cruel actions. She broke his finger, she spread sensitive information, and she ruined his social life. But why? Why did he still follow her around?

Countless questions followed by bitter rage consumed her. Rera hated herself, she detested the thought of ever forgiving herself. As her anger bubbled up inside, she felt goosebumps run up her skin. With no time to react, a strong burst of Adeptal Energy exploded.

KABAM!

"MY LADY!"

Using his Shadows, Loki broke down the door. Expecting Rera to tremble in fear of her own power, Loki was surprised to see that she was...calm. Not exactly the calmest, but he sensed anger welling up within her – ready to explode.
