Since her battle with the Electro Hypostasis, a month has gone by. The weather was getting hotter as Teyvat made its way for the summer. Within the month, Rera has adjusted to Electro to a certain extent and defeated all of the monsters that Xiao assigned her to.
She had no other reason to remain in Mondstadt for a time, but she felt a little sad about leaving. She has made many friends and met new people, but she did not want to say goodbye yet.
In the Roseweiss Library, Rera sat against one of the bookshelves. She looked up from her book as she stared off into space.
"Hmm..."
"What's the matter?" Loki asked, standing next to her. "Is the weather getting to you already?"
"Kind of, but no." Rera shook her head, "I was just thinking that since I finished my test, I should go back to Liyue."
"Oh? So you're not gonna be part of the Roseweiss family?"
"...That's the thing. I don't know yet."
"Even now? Huh..."
Despite more than a month passing, Rera hasn't reached a decision. Throughout her stay in the Roseweiss estate, Rera was always treated kindly by the servants along with Ashe and Rinea. They let her stay even when they had no obligation to do so. That kindness was something that Rera would never forget.

"My lady, should we go tell Xiao that you finished?" Loki asked.
"...Yeah. It's been a while since I've seen him."
Standing up, Rera dusted off her dress. She put the book back on the shelf and turned to Loki.
"Where is he now?" She asked.
"Yaoguang Shoal. He's fighting some monsters."
"Ooh! Let's go! I wanna show him how strong I've become!"
"Uh...if anything, you'll probably get in the way..."
"What do you-"

As they appeared on the sandy beach, they heard the sound of monsters screaming and the sound of flesh tearing. In the midst of it all was Xiao, he donned the Yaksha Mask and mercilessly slaughtered the enemy. His once teal-colored wind was painted over by Karmic Debt.
Swish!
His Primordial Jade Winged-Spear cut through the monsters with ease. The Elemental Shields of the Abyss Mages and the tough skin of the Mitachruls were no match against his spear.
The monsters were slain in an instant, black smoke dissipated from their bodies as the Karma left them. Swinging his spear to the side, blood splattered on the sand as he stood still. The Karma from the monsters only added to Xiao's suffering, perhaps more since he used his mask.
"...Why are you here?" Xiao asked harshly.
"I...I just wanted to-"
"Don't come any closer. Stay there."
"..."
Taking off his Yaksha Mask, it reappeared on his hip as he turned to Rera and Loki. He was breathing a little fast and his eyes were hiding pain behind them. He did not want to look weak in front of his disciple.
"Well? Are you going to answer my question?" He sighed, making his spear disappear.
"I came to tell you that I finished that test you gave me." Rera answered.
