Song= On the floor-Jennifer Lopez

Harry

Small quivers ran along the underside of my shoe as the music grew louder in the distance.

Ron's mom had dropped us off a couple of blocks away, and we had to walk the rest ourselves.

Hermione was wearing a short red dress with thin straps tugging the space between her neck and shoulder. Her curled hair was hanging loose around her shoulders, and her lips were colored a sweet tone of pink.

I kept catching Ron staring at her, and I hid a smile. You couldn't exactly say Ron and I had put very much thought into our outfits. My blue t-shirt was the same color as a twilight sky, and Ron was wearing his usual red sweater.

We walked in silence, slowly letting the music surround us, my heart slowly starting to beat faster. We finally reached the front yard placed in front of, what looked to be a very expensive house. The porch was filled with people laughing and leaning against the posts already beyond wasted.

We all stopped, contemplating whether we wanted to join the group of screaming people and loud music. We probably looked like idiots.

"I've heard Luna was here, so I guess I'm just going to go in and try to find her," Hermione said. Ron and I looked at her as she turned around and disappeared into the house.

"It's like I don't even know her anymore," Ron mumbled with a grin. I nodded, still looking in the direction she had disappeared.

"One hour," I said. Ron nodded and then we both went into the crowd of laughter and colors.

Everything was going at a different speed. Ron and I managed to find what seemed like the living room. We placed ourselves in the corner of a large black couch, extremely unsure what to do know.

In front of us, people were twirling around, entwined with each other in something I guessed were supposed to be dancing. They moved in sync with the beat of the song, and colors danced upon their faces as the light kept shifting.

"Come dance with me," a girl said. Her hair was hanging in loose curls, and her eyes were hidden behind long lashes. She was looking at Ron, a smile tucked on her lips.

"Sorry, do I know you?" Ron said.

The girl smiled at him. "Does it matter?"

Ron sent me an asking gaze, and I grinned and nodded at him. "Just go. I'll be fine."

He looked at me as if I would change my mind, but when nothing happened, he finally stood up and disappeared with the girl onto the dance floor.

I leaned back on the couch, one arm stretched along the side. I closed my eyes and let myself drown in the music, letting my breath steady as I once again opened them.

A tall guy, walked by me, handing over a red cup with liquid in it. Probably alcohol. I took a look around the room and noticed how everyone was holding the same cup. I was about to just say fuck it, and drink when I noticed him.

He was leaning against the wall in the corner of the room, his grey eyes fixed on me. He watched as I put the cup down and moved my gaze away from him.

My heart drummed to every beat of the music, and I needed to get away.

I got up and tried to escape, suddenly getting caught up among a lot of people dancing. I turned around and saw nothing but people blocking every way out. Bodies were pushed against me and I felt the music getting louder and louder.

I somehow managed to escape to the stairs, and I leaned against the railing, my head feeling a little dizzy. My eyes slipped back to the corner where Malfoy had stood, but he was nowhere to be seen. I sighed feeling a mix of relief and longing.

I bit my lip and didn't even notice the girl coming from behind, asking me if I wanted to dance. She had light brown hair and pretty blue eyes. I stared at her red lips as she said something else, and I didn't even have time to think about it before she dragged me out to the middle of the dancefloor. I stood still as she started moving her body in waves, her arms going up, then down along her body again.

"Relax," she told me, as she noticed I had no idea what to do. She guided my hands along her arms, down her short black dress. I could smell her sweet perfume as she bared her neck in a delicate move to the music. Our bodies came closer and we moved to the drowning beats together.

Suddenly I felt something brush against my arm, and I turned around to find the one person I had done everything to avoid.

He was leaning over a girl, his blonde hair falling into his face, hiding his little smirk, as he took her by the hand and made her do a swirl. The girl, Pansy, grinned and placed her hands around his neck. She turned her back to him, and I watched as her head fell back, leaning her face against his neck while her ass pushed up against him. He did nothing to stop her. Draco's eyes traced up along her body and then finally landed on me.

I looked away. The girl I was dancing with (Still didn't know her name) looked at me one time, and smirked, she followed the direction of my gaze but didn't seem to mind. In fact, she leaned closer, opened her mouth a bit, and breathed heavier, her hand entwining with my hair. I let my gaze slip back to Malfoy. He leaned down to Pansy's ear, smirking, whispering something in her ear that made her laugh a bit too hard. My cheeks started to glow, and my heartbeat fastened.

I slid my hand around the girl's waist, tilting my head, and watched as Draco followed my example. He clenched his jaw and led his hand to her hip, making her move inward towards his body. His eyes remained fastened on mine, and I bit my lip and smirked as I let my hand brush against the girl's jaw, the other hand sliding over her soft curves. She grinned and whispered, "Look."

My eyes fell upon Draco, who was standing completely still, looking at Pansy who was half bent over with tears down her face. There was vomit all over the ground, and in both Pansy's hair, and Draco's black t-shirt.

He said something to her and vanished up the stairs. Another girl came with some paper and helped Pansy clean it up, and they proceeded to walk away too.

The girl and I danced for a couple of more songs, my gaze constantly flying to the stairs, seeing if he'd returned. Then I leaned closer to the girl's ear, and said, "I have to go to the bathroom."
