Song= The village-Wrabel
Draco
A week? They seriously wanted us to spend an entire school week at some stupid camp? This was by far the stupidest thing I'd ever encountered.
Everything was dark around me. My head felt small, and my breathing was the only thing filling the room.
Light started to appear before me as my eyes slowly started to open. My room became clear, but nothing looked like it used to.
The sheets on the bed were torn, and clothes had been thrown on the floor in messy tiles. Shards of broken mirrors lay scattered around the room, the frame thrown into the corner.
Splintered glass from a broken vase was placed like dust around the floor, shimmering in the light of the late afternoon sun.
I still felt the steadiness of my heartbeat pounding in my throat. Had I done this? My fists had been clenched together, but slowly loosened up as I sighed. The last half hour was a blur. The announcement from school still echoed in the back of my mind. What had happened?
Fear shot through me as a knock sounded on the door.
"Draco?"
The door opened, and my Mother's soft face became visible. I watched as her gaze flew to the room, and her smile faded.
"Are you alright? I heard loud sounds coming from your room. Is something going on?"
I knew she'd been ill lately. I hadn't seen her out of bed for a few days now. But standing there in the doorframe, her pale face full of worry as she looked at the torn apart room, it was like seeing her for the first time in months.
"No, I– I just lost something." The lie slipped out easily. Too easy actually,
She looked at me, her dark eyes filled with suspicion.
"Oh, well, let me help you look then."
"No– no there's no need."
I started putting some of the clothes back into my drawer, feeling the heavy gaze of my mother following me.
"Okay," she sighed, slowly turning around. I heard her footsteps stop as she suddenly turned around. "Draco?"
I looked back up at her. "Yes?"
"You know I've been with you since the day you were born. I know you better than you probably think. You know you can come to me if anything's wrong, right?"
I stared at her, only hesitating for a short moment before I nodded in response. She left me alone, and I gazed at my ruined room.
As I said. There's no way in the living hell I was going to that camp.
