After winning the Segway race from Luke and spending the night in another pretty luxurious hotel, we went to the next place around dinner time the next day.

We had figured out the rest of our road trip and decided to only go to 2 more places after this one.

Queenstown and Milford sound, the next stop after that was either my house or the airport.

Time was flying by way to fast and I was trying as hard as I could to enjoy the, possibly, last days I had left with Luke.

'Lake Tekapo sounded very promising but other than the spa there's really nothing to do' Luke said.

We had been driving around the little town for half an hour, trying to find something interesting to do but failing.

I nodded.

'Well, I think we've done a pretty good job so far, this is only the second place where we don't have anything to do'

Luke smiled, putting his hand on my knee.

'I think so too, I thought it was going to be worse'

'Me too' I smiled, holding on to Luke's hand as he drove us to the first hotel we could find.

We drove onto a parking lot after a couple minutes and Luke parked the car.

Luke looked at the hotel right in front of us and took a moment to take a deep breath.

I frowned 'Are you okay?' I asked, unbuckling my seatbelt.

Luke looked at me and nodded.

'Let's go inside' he said, getting out of the car.

I followed him to the back of the car, stuffing the bag full with clothes and anything else we needed before going inside and getting ourselves a room.

It was a small room compared to the one we slept in last night, but it was still nice, I liked a little luxury every once in a while, but I also felt a little out of place there.

This room was basically nothing more than a bed and a bathroom.

There was a TV on the wall on the opposite side of the bed and a small closet to put your clothes in. The bathroom was very simple as well, with nothing but a toilet, shower and a sink in it.

'Hey, I know I said I'd go get us some food but they have room service' Luke said, showing me a little menu on the bedside table.

'We can get something from this if that's okay with you?' I sat down next to him and nodded, he sounded so tired it was starting to get a little scary.

'Yeah sure' I said.

We looked at the menu and after deciding what we wanted to eat, Luke called and asked for 4 kid's menu's.

'We are going to eat a lot of french fries' I said when Luke hung up the phone.

He smiled and nodded, pulling me to his chest and letting us fall back on the bed.

His smile wasn't the one he usually smiled though, this one looked like he had to put a lot of effort in trying to make it look like that.

'We almost forgot our little ritual' he said, pressing a kiss on the top of my head.

'We did, didn't we?' I said, drawing circles on Luke's chest.

Luke nodded and we went quiet for a few minutes.

'I think I'm going to change' I mumbled, lifting myself up on my elbows.

I looked at Luke who smiled at me.

He bit his lip and rested his arm on my lower back.

'You don't have too, naked is the most comfortable thing in the world and it's very easy! You just have to get rid of all your clothes and you're done!' he said.

I laughed and shook my head, pressing a kiss against his lips and getting up.

'No, I think I'll pass. But you can sit around naked if you want too' I said, grabbing the bag and going into the bathroom.

I quickly changed and tied my hear up in a bun, before putting all my clothes back in the bag.

When I was done, I walked out of the bathroom and almost bumped into Luke who was leaning against the wall next to the door.

'Ivy' Luke softly said as I walked past him.

'Luke?' I said, sitting down on the bed.

'I have to tell you something,' he said, nervously playing with his fingers and walking to the bed.

'You might not want to hear it, but I have to tell you'

I frowned and watched as he sat down next to me and took my hand, placing it in his lap and playing with my fingers.

'What is it?' I asked, looking at him as he looked at our hands.

I felt my heart start to race and my mind going crazy over what he had to tell me.

There were a lot of things it could be and my mind crossed all of them.

But it never crossed the thing he was actually about to say.
