I sat with Hermione in our ancient ruins class as I was taking a few of the same classes that she was and we were going to have to use her time-turner to make it but we didn't mind it gave us more time together. As the class went on I could see out of the corner of my eye that Hermione was occasionally glancing at me so I decided to ask her. I wrote on a spare piece of parchment and handed it to her. She replied with a simple I don't know but I didn't buy it so I wrote back with "Hermione Granger doesn't know. Not possible" before handing it back to her. She just gave me a small look before smiling and returning to the lesson looks like I will have to use a different way of getting her to talk. Once the lesson was over the two of us headed to divination before Hermione put the Time-Turner around the two of us flipped it back and time rewound.

"Welcome, my children. In this room, you shall explore the noble art of Divination. In this room, you shall discover if you possess the Sight. Hello. I am Professor Trelawney," Said the teacher as time began to run as normal.

"I'm not sure this lady is all there, you sure you wanna take this class," I whispered to Hermione.

"Together we shall cast ourselves into the future. This term, we'll focus on Tasseomancy, the art of reading tea leaves. So please, take the cup of the person sitting opposite you. What do you see? The truth lies buried like a sentence deep within a book, waiting to be read. But first, you must broaden your minds. First, you must look beyond," Trelawney said.

"Yeah right," I said.

"Where did you come from?" Ron said.

"Us? We've been here all this time," I said.

"You, boy... Is your grandmother quite well?" Trelawney said turning to Neville.

"I think so," Neville said.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that. Give me the cup. Pity," Trelawney said after inspecting Neville's cup making him fearfully look at it as his partner looked at the book.

"Broaden your minds. Your aura is pulsing, dear. Are you in the beyond? I think you are," Trelawney said approaching Ron.

"Sure," Ron said.

"Look at the cup. Tell me what you see," Trelawney said.

"Yeah. Harry's got sort of a wonky cross. That's trials and suffering. And that there could be the sun and that's happiness. So... you're gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it," Ron said.

"You buying that," I said.

"No," Hermione said.

"Give me the cup. Oh, my dear boy. My dear, you have the Grim," Trelawney said with fear.

"The Grin? What's the Grin?" Seamus said.

"Not the Grin, you idiot. The Grim. Taking the form of a giant spectral dog. It's among the darkest omens in our world. It's an omen...of death," Said another kid.

We had some time before our next class so I took Hermione aside to talk to her I hoped it was nothing but my dad had always told me the importance of omens.

"So what do you think?" I asked.

"About what?" Hermione said.

"This whole grim business I mean I agree that Divination is a boring and not so useful art but you and I both know that you can't ignore omens as much as you would like to it's simply not possible," I said.

"I suppose your right," Hermione said.

"So what do you think we should do," I asked.

"Why are you asking me," Hermione said.

"Look it's no secret that like you I have a head for books and knowledge but between the two of us you are the smarter one hell you are probably going to end the smartest young witch in history," I said.

"Thank you," Hermione said slightly looking to the side.

"So what does the smartest young witch in history think we should do," I said.

"Not sure but she'll figure something out," Hermione said with a smile.

"She always does," I said as we both let out a small laugh.

"Well shall we," I said.

"Yeah," Hermione said.
