Year 4 - Dose It Hurt

I stood outside just as they were all leaving and then they looked up and all froze as I stood there and smiled at them.

"Hey guy's I'm back," I said.

"Y/N," Hermione said.

She ran right up to and hugged me basically pushing Ron to the floor and out of the way as we hugged I could tell she was crying. I hugged her tighter before I pulled her to look at me and she saw my scars I shook my head to say not now and kissed her.

"You okay down there Ron," I said as he got up.

"Fine mate," He said as we bro hugged.

"Hey, Harry," I said as we did the same.

"Well, Ginny you are growing into quite the beautiful young witch," I as she hugged me tightly.

"Now Fred and George whoever's who," I said.

"Welcome back mate," They said hugging me.

"Good to see you son so shall we," Auther said as we began walking.

"So what was it like?" Ron said.

"It was difficult at first and I still can't not transform on the full moon but they gave me a countermeasure," I said holding up one of the potions.

"I see so your safe" Fred said.

"For now but I do have a question for you lot," I said.

"Ask away," Harry said.

"I mean what is going on here have none of you ever heard of a haircut before," I said and Hermione and Ginny giggled at the boy's reaction.

Soon after a bit more Auther saw a man by a tree and goes up to greet him like a friend.

"Arthur! It's about time," A man said.

"Sorry, Amos. Some of us had a sleepy start and we did pick up another along the way," Arthur said as Ron yawned and I waved.

"This is Amos Diggory, everyone he works with me at the ministry," Arthur said as he introduces him.

Diggory where have I heard that before I thought to myself as a boy jumped out of the tree and landed right next to them.

"And this strapping young lad must be Cedric, am I right," Arthur said.

"Yes sir," Cedric said shaking his hand with Arthur.

I see so Cedric and Amos must be father and son.

After another hour or so we are making our way up a hill and I see a port key.

"This should be fun never travelled by port key before," I said as I ran up to it with the others.

"That's it just over there," Arthur said.

"Shall we don't want to be late?" Amos said as we all arrive at the hill.

"Why are they all standing around that manky old boot," Harry said as I grabbed ahold.

"It's not just any manky old boot mate," Fred said.

"It's a portkey," George said.

Everyone is in a circle putting their hands on the boot all but Harry.

"Time to go. Ready," Amos said.

"What's a portkey," Harry said.

"After 3. One... Two..." Amos began.

"Harry," I yell as he then grabs on.

"Three," Amos said.

There is a flash of white and suddenly we are all flying through the air they all cheer as Hermione and I laugh in delight.

"Let go kids," Arthur said.

"What," Hermione said.

"Let go," Arthur said we all do so.

All of us let go and we fall through the air before crashing to the ground with a hard thud as I see Amos, Arthur, and Cedric join us far more gracefully like they were walking on air.

"I bet that cleared your sinuses eh?" Arthur said.

I help Hermione to her feet with a smile as I see Cedric help Harry.

"Thanks," Hermione said.

"Of course," I said.

We all walk across the field and we see a massive crowd gathered with tents and stands littering the whole area it was like a festival.

"Well kids welcome to the Quidditch world cup," Arthur said.

We walk into the crowd as we look around and smile at everything I smile taking in the sights a few people flew over us on brooms very close as we make it to a small tent.

"Parting ways old chap see at the match," Arthur said.

"See you at the match," Amos said as they shook hands and the two Diggorys left.

"See ya late Cedric," Harry and Ron said with a wave.  

"Home sweet home," Arthur said as he went in and we followed.

We enter one by one and see that the inside is many times larger than the outside.

"Ahhh excellent girls choose a bunk and unpack, get out of the kitchen Ron we're all hungry," Arthur said.

"Yeah get out of the kitchen Ron," the twins said feet up ad they relaxed.

"Feet off the table," Arthur said passing them by.

"Feet off the table," They as they get their feet down before putting them right back up again.

"So as you can see bunking is separated by gender but keep in mind that one of the boys will have to share with the girls because of space issues," Arthur said and all heads snapped in my direction.

"Problem," I said.

"No but obviously with you and Hermione getting together you are the only logical choice," Ginny said.

"I don't know if I would go that far I mean yeah we like each other but I wouldn't call us a thing," I said.

"Alright fine thing in progress point is your bunking with us tonight," Ginny said.

"Just accept it mate she has put her foot down and like our mom you don't wanna get on her bad side when she does that," Fred said.

"So be it," I said and Hermione blushed.

We had some time before the match and the others had some questions so we decided to do some catching up.

"Well my question is something we are all wondering about the scar on your face how," Ginny said.

"Transformation accident," I said.

"Does it hurt," Hermione asked.

"Naaaa it's not and as bad as it looks, promise," I said.

"Okay next question what's it like transforming," Fred said and I laughed knowing that was coming.
