When it came to our final session everyone had pretty much hit the same level so it was back to one big group with me and Harry co-teaching and I was impressed at how much our group had grown. I was just watching on the sidelines when a bunch of Gryffindors came over to me a few I knew as we were in the same year.
"You need help with something," I said turning to them.
"We wanted to apologize, for the way we treated you because we were scared," One of the girls from the year below me said.
"It's fine your one of us now that is all that matters," I said.
"Really?" She asked.
"Really," I said smiling at them.
Later Harry had ended the session and we were both congratulated before people left I know that me and Hermione had made plans but Harry had a moment with Cho so we left. I was sitting in the common room with Hermione practically sitting in my lap as we waited for Harry to get back so he could tell us or rather them about it.
"Well, how was it?" Ron said a little too interested.
"Wet, I mean, she was sort of crying," Harry said.
"That bad at it, are you?" Ron joked.
"I'm sure Harry's kissing was more than satisfactory. Cho spends half her time crying these days," Hermione said.
"You'd think a bit of snogging would cheer her up," Ron said.
"Don't you understand how she must be feeling Well, obviously she's feeling sad about Cedric and confused about liking Harry and guilty about kissing him conflicted because Umbridge might sack her mum from the Ministry and frightened of failing her OWLs because she's worrying about everything," Hermione said.
"One person couldn't feel all that. They'd explode," Ron said.
"Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon," I said and everyone began to laugh.
Later that night I was woken up by Harry as he was practically yelling in his sleep not sure about what but we took him to Dumbledore.
"In the dream, were you standing next to the victim or looking down at the scene?" Dumbledore said after all the Weasleys had arrived.
"Neither. It was like I. Will you please just tell me what's happening?" Harry said.
"Everard, Arthur's on guard duty tonight. Make sure he's found by the right people," Dumbledore said to a painting.
"Sir," Harry said Dumbledore ignoring him.
"Phineas. You must go to your portrait at Grimmauld Place. Tell them that Arthur Weasley is gravely injured and his children will be arriving there soon by Portkey," Dumbledore said to another painting.
"They've got him, Albus. It was close, but they think he'll make it. What's more, the Dark Lord failed to acquire it," The first said as he returned.
"Oh, thank goodness. Next we need to..." Dumbledore said but was cut off.
"LOOK AT ME, What's happening to me?" Harry said.
"You wished to see me, headmaster?" Snape said as he came in.
"Oh, Severus. I'm afraid we can't wait. Not even till the morning. Otherwise, we'll all be vulnerable," Dumbledore said.
Later we were are all at Grimmauld Place for Christmas I was there since my dad had told me he won't be able to spend Christmas with me this year Auror business.
"Hо, hо, hо. Merry Christmas. Here we go. Daddy's back. Sit down, everybody, sit down. That's it. Now, presents," Molly said as he wheeled Mr Weasly in.
"Here a nice big box for Ron. Big box for you. And... Fred and George. Come on, open up. I want to see your faces. Yes. Try it on," Molly said handing out presents even I got one from them.
"Thanks, Mum. It's perfect," Ron said.
"Just what he wanted, actually," Fred said.
"Yeah. Right. Thanks, Mum," Ron said.
"Come on, then, everybody. Let's clear this away. Oh, Harry, Harry. There you are. Happy Christmas," Molly said.
"Thank you," Harry said.
"Lovely to have you with us," Molly said.
"Thank you," Harry said
"Now, Daddy. Pass that to Daddy. Thank you. Has everybody got it? Fred? George? Hermione? Y/N," Handing out drinks
"A Christmas toast. To Mr. Harry Potter... without whom I would not be here," Arthur said.
"Harry," We all said.
"That is delicious. I shall be needing some more of that," Arthur said.
"Daddy, don't forget last Christmas," Molly said.
Later after another fantastic meal, we are off to our rooms Ron is reluctantly wearing the present from his mother as we walk.
"I can't understand why you don't want to wear it, Ronald," Hermione said.
"I look like a bloody idiot, that's why," Ron said.
"You always look like a bloody idiot Ron," I said.
"Thanks, mate," Ron said.
"Anytime pal," I said making Hermione giggle.
I was in the bedroom looking up at the ceiling as Hermione was reading one of the many books she brought for this break. I was trying to figure out what my next move was but I have too much going on my dad was acting less like a father and my life was about to be burned to the ground.
"What's wrong," Hermione said.
"Right now everything," I said.
"What do you mean," Hermione said.
"You can't feel it like we're about to be thrown into a war we're not even part of," I said.
"No, I can, I just try not to think about that," Hermione said.
"What do you think about," I said sitting up.
"What is going to happen after with us where we will end up," Hermione said.
"Hermione no matter what happens I will always be by your side as long as you're by mine," I said Hermione then smiled and kissed me.
The kiss got more heated until we fell asleep in each other's arms without even bothering to get under the covers or to get changed.
"Good morning," Hermione said.
"Good morning to you too," I said.
"I like this it's nice," Hermione said hugging me.
"What is?" I asked pacing an arm around her.
"Waking up next to you," Hermione said as she snuggled up closer to me.
