More Than Magic (Hermione x Male reader)

Year 5 - He's Right

I sat in the room I shared with Hermione as we talked with Ron about the last report we got on Harry seems Dumbledor had others keeping tabs on him.

"This is mad not to mention completely unfair," Hermione said.

"Yeah you said that a few times already," I said.

"But they can't do this," Hermione said.

"I'm not so sure they will," I said.

"What do you mean," Ron said.

"The order is working on getting Harry a fair trial right and I bet you anything Dumbledor will be there to speak on Harry's behalf," I said.

That seemed to have calmed Hermione down for the moment I guess we will find out more when Harry arrives. It was dinner and I was sitting with Hermione and Ron on either side of me as Lupin came in and he saw us knowing what we wanted.

"It worked a fair hearing will be held and Harry will be arriving tomorrow," Lupin said and we sighed in relief.

"Now what," I said.

"Now we wait, plan our next move," Lupin said before dinner began.

It was night now and Hermione was lying next to me there were two beds in our room but she seemed to be happy laying next to me. I didn't mind her laying next to me I mean I loved her but the last time this happened it was only because there was no space. I closed my eyes and wrapped an arm around Hermione she snuggled up to me and then we both went to sleep. The next day I was with Ron and Hermione in the room Ron and the twins were sharing as we waited for Harry to rive we were told it would be late. It was a good while after the sunset that there was a knock on the door and Hermien opened it to see Harry there. 

"Harry. You alright? We've heard the Dementors attack. You must tell us everything," Hermione said as she hugged him. 

"Let him breathe, Hermione," Ron said he too gave him a hug.

"Welcome back," I said hugging him too.

"And this hearing at the Ministry, it's just outrageous. They can't expel you. lt's completely unfair," Hermione said.

"Yeah. There's a lot going around me. So what is this place?" Harry said.

"lt's headquarters. The Order of The Phoenix. lt's a secret society. Dumbledore formed it back in the first time Voldemort rose to power," I said.

"You couldn't write any of this in your letter l suppose? The whole summer without a scrap of news," Harry said.

"We thought to write, really, l did, only..." Ron said.

"Only what," Harry said.

"Only Dumbledore made us swear not to tell you anything," I said.

"Dumbledore said that? But why would he want to keep me in the dark? Maybe l can help. After all, I and Y/N saw Voldermort return. Were the ones who fought him the ones he fought with," Harry said as the twins appeared. 

"Harry," Fred said.

"Thought we heard your dullest tone," George said.

 "Don't be so uptight," Fred said.

"Let it out," George said.

"Anyway, do you want to hear something a little more interesting?" Fred said.

They took us to the star well as the twins lowered down an ear on a sting by the door so we could listen in.

"Harry has the right to know. If it wasn't for him and Y/N, no one would know he was back. He's hardly a child, Molly," Sirius said. 

"But not an adult either. He's not James, Sirius. He's not your son," Molly said.

"He's as good as. No one else he's got. He's got me," Sirius said.

"Potter will grow up into a criminal. Just like his Godfather," We heard Snape's voice said. 

"Stay out of this, Severus. Why don't you tell him?" Sirius said.

Then Hermione's cat saw the ear and began playing with it as Fed tried to pull up the ear as Hermione told her to stop before She pulled ht ear off the string. 

"Hermione, l hate your cat," Ron said as it walked off.

"We'll be eating down in the kitchen," Moly said as we walked down before Fred and Geroge appeared behind her making her jump.

"Just because you're allowed to use magic now, does not mean you have to whip your wands out for everything," She yelled as the twins ran downstairs. 

"Hi, mom," Ginny said as she passed me and Hermione behind her.

"Harry Potter," Sirius said as they saw each other.

"Sirius," Harry said as they ran to hug.

"It seems that your hearing at the Ministry...is to be before the entire Withem," Kingsley said as we sat at the table.

"I don't understand what's the Ministry of Magic got against me," Harry said.

"Show him, He'll find out soon enough," Mad eye said looking at me.

"He's been attacking Dumbledore as well,'' He said as I gave Harry a paper. 

"Fudge is using all his power including his influence at the Daily Prophet," Lupin said

"It's just me and Dumbledore," Harry said.

"Turn the page," I said.

Harry turned the page to see an article all about me and my relation to Voldemort and something to do with me following in his footsteps.

"How did they find out," Harry said.

"How do you think old Barty Jr most have blabbed on the way back to Azkaban," I said as Hermione rubbed my shoulder. 

"So now what does that mean," Harry said.

"Thankfully nothing as far as the rest of the media is concerned even that is a little much but no telling how long that will last," Sirius said.

"In any case for now we have Harry's trial to think about," Mad eye said.

"He's right," Hermione said.
