It was the next day and I was with Hermione as we danced to a song on the radio it was a small moment of bliss in the days we lived in. It was as the song faded away I pulled Hermione closer and kissed her and she smiled into the kiss.

"Hermione. Y/N? You were right. Snitches have flesh memories... but I didn't catch the first Snitch with my hand, I almost swallowed it," Harry said showing us the Snitch.

"I open at the close," Hermione read out.

"What do you think that means?" I said.

I don't know. I found something as well. At first, I thought it was an eye, but now I don't think it is. It isn't a rune, and it isn't anywhere in Spellman's Syllabary. Somebody inked it in. It isn't part of the book. Somebody drew it," Hermione said showing a symbol in her book she got from Dumbledore.

"Luna's dad was wearing that at Bill and Fleur's wedding," Harry said.

"Why would someone draw it in a children's book?" I said.

"Look, Hermione, Y/N I've been thinking. I want to go to Godric's Hollow. It's where I was born. It's where my parents died," Harry said

"That's exactly where he'll expect you to go because it means something to you," I said.

"Yeah, but it means something to him too. You-Know-Who almost died there. I mean, isn't that exactly the type of place he'd be likely to hide a Horcrux?" Harry said.

"It's dangerous, Harry. But even I have to admit, recently I've been thinking we'll have to go there. I think it's possible something else is hidden there," Hermione said with a sigh.

"What?" I said.

"The sword. If Dumbledore wanted you to find it but didn't want it in the Ministry's hands... where better to hide it than the birthplace of the founder of Gryffindor?" Hermione said.

"Good point," I said.

The next day we got ready and Hermione apparated us there as he found ourselves on a snow-covered street in the dead of night.

"I still think we should've used Polyjuice Potion," Hermione said.

"No. This is where I was born. I'm not returning as someone else," Harry said.

"Harry, I think it's Christmas Eve. Listen," Hermione said we hear a choir singing off in the distance.

"Do you think they'd be in there, Hermione? My mom and dad," Harry said as we get to a graveyard.

"Yeah, I think they would," I said.

We walk around the graveyard we let Harry look on his own but we still don't go too far. It was after a few minutes when I notice a grave with my last name on it my family's name so I brush off the snow.

"Mary L/N 1950-1999 mother of three and wife to a loving husband," Hermione said reading what was on the grave.

"Guess my dad wasn't the first," I said.

"Did you know her," Hermione asked.

"No," I said.

Hermione then enchanted a ring of flowers to appear on her grave I smiled and gave her a quick kiss on the top of her head as she hugs me.

"Hey, Harry? It's Christmas Eve," I said.

"Merry Christmas, Hermione. Y/N," Harry whispered to us.

"Merry Christmas, Harry," We whispered back.

"Harry, there's someone watching us. By the church," Hermione said.

"I think I know who that is," I said.

"I don't like this, Harry," Hermione said as we follow her.

"Hermione, she knew Dumbledore," Harry said.

She might have the sword," I said as she leads us to a house black and burned.

"This is where they died, Hermione. This is where he murdered them," Harry said.

Hermione and I leave Harry to talk with her as I too was getting a sinking feeling but I didn't know what was causing it. I use my wand to light up the house and I am really starting to not like this place as I make it upstairs I find a bedroom. It was a child's room but it was the only room that wasn't black and old I looked at the room before we heard a commotion and Harry came crashing in with a snake attacking him.

"Harry!" Hermione yelled.

"Confringo!" I said and hit the snake as it hit the wall l grab Harry and Hermione Appatartes us away.

"Are you feeling better?" I asked as we regained our composure.

"You've outdone yourself this time, Hermione," Harry said looking around.

"The Forest of Dean. I came here once with Mom and Dad, years ago. It's just how I remember it, The trees, the river, everything. Like nothing has changed." Hermione said.

"Not true, of course. Everything's changed," I said.

"If I brought my parents back here now, they probably wouldn't recognize any of it," Hermione said as she began to cry.

"Hey shhhh shhhh come here," I said hugging her.

"Maybe we should just stay here, Y/N. Grow old," Hermione said as I hugged her.

A couple of days later I am outside with Hermione when Harry came out and sat with us.

"You wanted to know who the boy in the photograph was," Hermione said.

"I know. Gellert Grindelwald. He's the thief I saw in Gregorovitch's Wand Shop. Speaking of which, where is my wand? Where's my wand, Hermione?" Harry said.

"As we were leaving Godric's Hollow, I cast a curse and it rebounded. I'm sorry. I tried to mend it, but wands are different," Hermione said as she showed Harry his broken wand.

"It's done. Leave me yours. Go inside and get warm. I'll take the locket as well," Harry said as I hesitantly gave it to him.

Once inside I took a saet in my bed and Hermione came and sat next to me and rested her head on my shoulder.

"I meant what I said by the way about us just growing old," Hermione said.

"I know but I would much rather prefer growing old with you in a world that we know our kids will be safe in," I said rubbing her shoulder.

"Right our family," Hermione said.
