Percent 41 - Decisions and Realizations

"Irelia, what took you so long? We gotta go.." Mom said. She's waiting for me.

I immediately went here after that scene I saw outside the restroom. The realizations I made. I will take responsibilities. I'm not Lavine Lombard anymore. I'm Princess Irelia Lizbeth Zahara Elisha of Aethelstan now.

I'm not a Commoner anymore, I'm a Princess.

When I looked at myself in the mirror and realized I wasn't bitter about that, not like I thought I'd be. I'd miss it, but it was just a piece of who I was now, not everything I was.

"Sorry, Mom. Let's go.." Sabi ko. I'm optimistic. I need to learn the proper ways of becoming a perfect princess. I have to learn those things.

"Very well then.." Tinawag nito si Jia. "Come with us. My daughter needs you to teach her the things she has to know." Jia nodded. Sumunod nalang ako kay Mom at Jia palabas sa establishment. Hinihintay na kami ng sasakyan. Pinagbuksan kami ng pintuan ng bodyguards na kasama namin.

Hindi ko alam kung saan kami papunta.

Basta nakarating kami sa isang  boutique. Exclusive and well known boutique here in Paris.

"We need to buy your dresses here, Irelia. For the upcoming party this weekend. You needed this to freshen up. Pick the ones you like that makes you comfortable. Jia, accompany my daughter." Mom said and talked to Jia for a minute.

"Yes, Your Highness." Jia politely answered my Mom.

Tinulungan nga ako ni Jia sa pamimili ng damit. May pinili din si Mom na damit para sa akin. Kinuha ko ito at ibinigay kay Jia. Lahat ng napili naming damit ay magaganda lahat. Magkaiba ang designs. Simple but elegant. Dinala itong lahat ni Jia papunta sa fitting room para i-fit ko.

Inuna ko na ang pinili ni Mom na isang mermaid long gown. Kasama ko si Jia sa loob para tulungan ako na suotin ang gown. Mahirap kasing isara ang zipper kung wala akong kasama para magsara nito.

Lumabas ako ng fitting room at pinakita kay Mom ang itsura ko.

"It really suits you, Irelia. You're perfect, my dear!" Amazed na sabi ni Mom.

I smiled and thanked my Mom. Nahiya naman ako dun.

"Jia, what's next?" I asked.

"The long gown, Your Highness."

Tinulungan niya ako sa pagtanggal ng gown na suot ko at tinulungan ako sa pag-fit ng isa pa. Pinakita ko ulit kay Mom at ganun pa rin ulit ang eksena.

Pagkatapos kong i-fit ang lahat ay binayaran na itong lahat ni Mom. Kinuha agad ito ng mga bodyguards na kasama namin.

"We're having a family dinner later. We're inviting some important people. So be at your best tonight."

"Yes, Mom."

Hindi ko alam kung sinong mga tao ang mga 'yun. But I want to impress my Mom. I don't want to disappoint her or Dad.

I need to apply all the things I have learned so far.. From all the Princess Training.

We arrived after a few minutes in the palace. Sinalubong kami ni Dad at Kuya Ivan sa staircase.

"Welcome home, sister." My brother, Louie said. This is the time to call him with his real name..

"How was your training, brother?" I asked him. I raised my eyebrows at him.

"It was great." He chuckled. "Tell me more later." I said, smiling. He nodded.

Dad and Mom looked at us. As if they have forgotten something.
