Percent 43 - Win Or Lose

I looked straight in the direction of Ezreal, he looked suprised but kept his mouth shut. I didn't say a word. All I did was stood there feeling dumbfounded. Krystalle raised her eyebrows at me and looked at me carefully, she didn't recognized me at her first glance and later then that she realized that she knows me very well.

I bet she was too shocked right now that I'm standing here right in front of her. Not as a commoner but a princess. I remembered all the insults that she gave me way back. I forgot all of those things but seeing her now, I remembered it all.

Seeing the person whose always on my mind, I know now that my moving on process was shattered like broken glass.

"I am tired." I said when I gained my confidence. "It's so awfully difficult to feel sad and tired at the same time when all you want is to feel alive."

After saying those words, I walked away from them. I didn't bother to looked back at all. I left Caiden there but he followed me.

I'm stuck between not caring at all and caring too much. I don't want to feel all of these unwanted feelings. I wanted it all gone.

He will never be mine. We will never be together. I have to accept that.

"Are you okay? You said you're tired." Caiden asked, worriedly after he caught up with my pace.

"I'm fine." I felt weak but I gave him a sincere smile.

"You sure?" Caiden asked again. I nodded.

"Would you mind if we dance? It'll make you feel better afterwards. I'm an excellent dancer." He chuckled to raise up my mood.

"Sure." He led me to the center as he held my hand.

We danced with slow music. I'm thankful that I didn't step on his feet.

"I guess I'm not a lousy dancer." I told him, smiling. He smirked.

"Well, you're not that bad."

We danced and danced until the music ended.

"I'm hungry."

"You're always hungry.." He said, pouting. I glared at him and he mouthed 'Kidding' from his mouth.

We made our way to the buffet table. The maid gave me a plate and silverwares. I thanked her while Caiden was following behind me and did the same. I picked my food and when I'm finished, I looked back and saw Caiden that he's still following my pace from behind.

I saw that the table for Caiden and I, and it was near Krystalle and Ezreal's table. It was not that far away. I sighed.

Well, it can't be helped.

I made my way towards their direction. Following behind me was Caiden.

Lowering my gaze, I walked to my seat, settling in across to Krystalle.

"Seriously Irelia?" She whispered, annoyed.

I tilted my head in her direction. "I'm sorry?" I replied, feigning confusion.

She put her silverware down, and we stared or what I meant was glared at each other. "You look trashy." She insulted me yet again. We'll see about that. I'm not the 'Lavine' you used to know way back in CPU.

"Well, you look jealous." I gawked at her which made her more annoyed. Ezreal was calming her down. I saw Ezreal looked at me with disbelief in his eyes.
