Part 47 Khushi's ploy

Arnav and Khushi were on the way to Aditya's house.

"Are you ready?" Arnav asked.

"I'm ready. I hope you won't mess..." Khushi said controlling her laughter.

Arnav rolled his eyes smilingly.

"I'm not a good actor. Yet, I will try my best." Arnav said smilingly.

"By the way, Khushi, they checked my certificates before the process. What if they remember my name? they will get suspect on us"

"They won't remember your name as it was seven years ago. Even though they remember that they can do nothing because there is no evidence to prove it. we don't have to care about it"

"How?"

"If they talk about it, you just ask me, 'REALLY, Khushi? THE NAME OF THE DONER ALSO IS ARNAV?' with excitement. That's all" she said casually.

Arnav chuckled.

They reached Aditya's house after forty minutes of the journey. Khushi was right. Aditya's parents were discussing the case with their lawyer. They were stunned, seeing Khushi... especially with a man... maybe, they might have guessed who he could be.

"She is Khushi, Aditya's wife," Shilpa said to the lawyer.

Their lawyer stood up.

"I'm advocating Sunil Arora." He introduced himself to Khushi.

"I'm Mrs. Khushi Arnav. he is my husband Arnav"

Khushi introduced themselves to the lawyer as she was not ready to talk to her Ex-in-laws.

"Please take your seats," Sunil said.

Arnav and Khushi sat on the couch and Sunil took a seat next to Arnav, facing Khushi.

"I hope you got the notice," He said as if they don't know about the fire accident.

"Yeah, I just got it," Khushi said.

Arnav didn't talk. In this matter, he wanted Khushi to handle it. He thought to talk only if needed.

"What is your decision?"

"We are ready to meet you in the court, sir"

"I think you should have taken the decision in haste" he smiled awkwardly.

"No... We took the decision only after analyzing it well" Khushi said.

"Why are you adamant Mrs. Aditya?"

"Mrs. Arnav..." she corrected it.

"Ok... Mrs. Arnav... you can sign the document and be peaceful" Sunil said.

"I would have signed the document if they had asked me respectfully. But not now" Khushi ran her eyes on them.

"Then we have no choice other than taking your son from you"

"Try it... if you can" she said with attitude.

"He is a test tube baby... Aditya's family spent money on the child" Sunil said.

"But, they wanted me to drop him in an orphanage. They have no right on my son" she said gritting her teeth.

"Emotions won't work in the court, madam..."

"I know court needs evidence. I think you didn't watch the news. The fertility center met with a fire accident yesterday night and burnt into ashes"

"So what? You got married to Aditya. He is no more. So, you can't prove his inability. We can say that father of your son is Aditya"
