Chapter 23 : Recollecting The Past

Rora's Pov

After I read the cards, I spread a smile on my face as there was some funny jokes. Then, I saw Taeyang holding something. It has a nice ribbon on top of the pink box. "Taeyang, what are you holding?" I asked him curiously. "Uh...Nothing." He said hiding it.
"Taeyang, I know there's something." I said and smirk. "OK. You got me." He said showing the pretty box. I almost want to take it when Taeyang said, "Inside the box has memory of the past. Do you think you can handle it?" He asked worriedly. "Yes, I can." I told him.
He gave it to me and I opened it slowly. I saw a beautiful globe. I took it out and spin it slowly so that I can see every inch of it. Then I remembered that I have lots of it from Taeyang which I broke some of it. I stared at it for a while then I shake it. The snowflakes dropped from above. "Kamsahaminida Taeyang. I love it so much!" I said to him.
I put it beside the bed so that I can see it every moment. "I'm going to ask the doctor when you can be discharge. Anyone wants to follow me?" Jiyong said, asking the four of them. "Me too." T.O.P said. "Me three."Daesung said. "Wait for me." Seungri said. "Aren't you coming with them?" I asked Taeyang. "I want to stay with you." He said holding my hand.
I blushed a bit and smile to him. "I like you." I accidently said.
I covered my mouth and look away. "Hey, you don't need to hide it from me." He said and hold my hand. "Cause I like you too and I don't want to lose you." He told me and smile to me. "Really?" I asked. "Hundred percent!" He said, then he suddenly hugged me.
I hugged him back and I'm starting to love his hugs. His hugs are so warm and that reminds me of the past too. "Are you done hugging love birds?" Seungri said making me and Taeyang startled. "Yah! It's just a friendly hug." Taeyang said and I just agree with it by nodding my head. "By the way, the doctor said that Rora can be discharge tomorrow after they check her again. See if she's in a better condition." Jiyong told to Taeyang and I didn't noticed he glances at me.
I look at him and he turn away quickly. "I got to go." Jiyong said.
Others followed him and waved me goodbye.
I was very curious why he did that. Am I an enemy of him? Or what? I don't know. "Rora, I want to tell you something." Taeyang said. "What is it?" I asked, sitting upstraight. "Do you know Lora." He asked me.
When he said 'Lora', I started to remember the days I met her and now I know that Lora is a person that I dislikes with. "Don't say anything about her." I said turning away. "I'm not here to talk about my engagement or wedding with her." He explaimed to me. "What happened?" I asked turning back to him.
He explained to me every details and as he was explaining, I tried to remember and follow the flow of it. It hurts a lot but I just push myself harder and be strong. "Are you OK?" He asked me after explaining what happened between him and Lora. "I'm fine. It's just a headache." I said trying not to make him worry about me. "Here." He gave me the medicine and the glass of water to me.
I quickly eat the medicine to reduce the pain. "I think that's enough for today." He said and lie down on the couch. "Aren't you going home?" I asked him. "I'm staying here with you and I am going to work in the afternoon." He said while closing his eyes.
I guess he must be very tired the whole day at work and coming to the hospital. "OK. Goodnight." I said and went to bed. Then I felt someone said,"Goodnight."
I smiled and slept peacefully.
I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to continue reading the half of the page my diary book. I get to finish reading my first diary book and I remembered that I had fall for Taeyang so much. Now, I still love him and could not confess it him. Maybe, I won't be with him in this life. I closed the book and sleep again.
Taeyang's Pov

I woke up at 10 a.m. in the morning and found Rora still sleeping peacefully. I went to the bathroom to wash up my face. Then I texted Amy to come over to the hospital to take Rora home. After a few minutes, Amy replied back,"Hey Taeyang, I received your message and I could not come right now as I'm at work. Can you be with Rora untill evening cause I'll be back by evening. Or later than that and I am so sorry for that." "It's OK" I replied back. "THX SO MUCH! :-)" She texted me again.
I texted Jiyong that I could not attend work for today as I'm taking care of Rora. He then texted me back within 2 minutes. "I'll meet you guys there later at Rora's place."
I put down my phone and waited for Rora to wake up. I decided to read some magazines that were on the table. After 5 minutes later, Rora woke up. She stretched her left hand only as her other hand was still in cast and yawned. I went to her bed and sat beside her. "What time is it?" She asked in a sleepy tone. "It's 10.20 a.m." I answered her. "How's your arm?" I asked. "It's getting better and I think I can move it a bit." She said as she tried to move her right arm slowly. "The doctor will check you again to see whether you can be discharged." I told her. "I know that. You think I had forgotten about it." She said and smile brightly. "Well, I thought you might forget about it because of your head." I said smiling away. "Hey! I can remember OK even though I hurt my head badly." She said pretending to be angry with me.
We then laughed, tell some jokes and we talked about Lora too. After that, the doctor came in the room. I step aside to let the doctor check her up. After they checked her hand, her health and the broken arm, the doctor went to me. "She's fine and can be discharged today. Just take note that she must not force herself too much of remembering the past and do give her medicine on time. Her right arm is getting better so take a good care of it. We have taken out the bandage on her head and replaced a new one. The scar will be gone in a month eventually and do change her bandage every single day." The doctor explained to me in details.
He did gave me the heart-locket which was bought by me. I nodded my head, took the heart-locket and thanked him. I told Rora to stay here while I pay the bills and buy the medicine. After I payed the bills and bought the medicine, I quickly went to Rora's room to help her pack her stuffs. After I went in, I saw Rora trying to zip the bags. I went to her and help her zip it. "You pack so fast." I told her. "Yup because I can't wait to go home." She said and smile brightly.
I took the heart-locket from my pocket and put it around her. She was startled by it but she just let me do it. She keep looking at it and I think she is recollecting the memories of the locket. "That locket was bought by me, remember?" I told her. "Ya, I do." She replied back and keep tocuhing the locket.
I took her bags and hold her hand and went in my car. As I was driving to her apartment, Rora was still touching the locket and still feel curious. "You have been touching and looking at the locket since we left the hospital. Are you OK?" I asked her. "I'm just finding the lock." She answered me.
Fianlly, she found and opened the lock. She was happy about it and wanted to see it. I also did want to see it too so I take a peek at it. I saw a picture of me in it. Seeing the picture, I already knew that Rora want to be with me forever but I think Rora will remember. She keep looking at the picture and kept silence. "Rora." I called her name but she still looking at the picture. "Rora. Rora!" I said louder this time.
She looked at me shockingly ans I bet that she's been staring at it. "Are you OK?" I asked. "I'm fine. I was remembering this locket." She told me. "Well, since yesterday you have remember quite a lot of things. Just like your father." I said to her.
She then kept silence again and this makes me even worried about her. Now, I know that everytime she kept silence means she recollecting something. I stop the car beside the pavement and hold her hand. She looked at me surprisingly. "Don't do that." I told her with a serious expression. "Do what?" She asked. "Remembering stuffs." I said. "But I need to know. I need to know what is my past so that I won't be confused." She explained. "Everytime when you want to remember something, you will always kept quiet and stare at something you hold. That makes me worried a lot." I explained to her back. "Taeyang, I know you are worried about me a lot and I'm worried for myself too. I'm the one who lost my own memory and it's my job to bring it back. As soon as I have remembered the things that I wanted to know, the sooner I will end being like this. Doing this is not easy thing to do and I need time. I will be my own self back soon and...." She suddenly stop explaining. "And?" I said. "And..Fa..F-all...Fall--in---lo-ve with you a-again." She finished her sentence and her eyes started to fill with tears.
After I heard the words she spoke and saw her teary eyes , I continue driving to her apartment and pushing the pain away from me.
