Lisa nearly walked into him. Thankfully, she stopped fast enough and managed to keep a distance of one footstep between them. She calmly looked at the person who had abruptly come up to block her way – Jung Jaehyun!
He was the school principal’s son. Although he appeared to be normal, he was actually a rich playboy.
The entire school knew that he hated three types of women the most.
Fat, ugly and stupid women.
From everyone’s point of view, she was all of the above.
People often joked about her and Jaehyun. They would discuss how it had been difficult for her to hit all the three ‘good attributes’ that he hated. This had to be fate! They would ask him to gather some good karma and to do a good deed by marrying Lisa.
Jaehyun was an arrogant guy. All the women around him were popular and beautiful. He even boasted that he wouldn’t marry just a smart and beautiful woman. She needed to have a voluptuous figure as well.
Bringing Lisa’s name up with him in the same sentence had deeply harmed his pride and caused him to suffer the greatest insult.
Thus, whenever Jaehyun met her, he would feel extremely hateful. He would harshly insult her everytime in order to feel better.
Lisa had no intentions of paying him any attention. She turned to her left and prepared to walk around him.
To her surprise, Jaehyun followed her suit. “You actually dared to ignore this young master!”
He was not only the principal’s son. His mother was also the director of the Jung Group. His position as a rich son was extremely stable and secure.
Furthermore, the couple only managed to have a son when they were relatively older. Thus, they deeply doted on him and caused his personality to become this unrestrained.
“Isn’t this the most ugly and fat woman in our school, Lee Lalisa?” Several students began to pay attention to their commotion and gathered around them. Someone spoke up in surprise. “Lisa rarely comes to school. Why is she here today?”
“Aiya, I always knew that the Lee family had created two miracles. The elder sister, Lee Eunha, is beautiful and generous. She has been a star student ever since she was young. Her younger sister on the other hand, is ugly to the point of provoking public anger. She is extremely bad at studying. To think that I would get to see them both at the same time. What a rare occasion!”
Lisa had expected this attention.
If this was in the past, she would have felt badly self-conscious. However, perhaps it was because she had suffered from too much pain in her previous life, when she listened to these comments right now…
She only felt that, when her face eventually recovered and she lost weight to regain her outstanding appearance, she would make it impossible for these bastards to look away from her!
Jaehyun regarded Lisa like the plague. He took a step back with a look of disdain. “Lalisa, why are you standing so close to me? Are you trying to take advantage of me?”
His exaggerated action caused everyone around them to burst into laughter.
Lisa was angered. “Looking at you, who wants to take advantage of you?”
“Yo, yo, why don’t you widen your eyes to take a proper look. This young master is extremely handsome. My skin is also soft and tender. Don’t make careless comments. Are you trying to cling onto me with that sort of strategy?” Jaehyun harrumphed coldly. “Let me warn you, you’re not allowed to have thoughts about me!”
“Delusional.” Lisa rolled her eyes. “Who would want to cling onto you?”
“I bet you’re drooling because you’re interested in me!” He pointed at the glistening sweat by the corner of Lisa’s lips. “Look, you’re really salivating after this young master!”
“Hahaha!” All of the students present burst into laughter.
Lisa’s expression darkened. She could not even be bothered to explain. Still, she spoke up. “Are you blind? It’s my sweat!”
“It really seems like it’s just sweat…” Someone suddenly noticed and commented. “Lisa is sweating so much. Earlier, I saw her running to school while Eunha drove her Ferrari. Isn’t the Lee family being too unfair?”
Yerin felt extremely upset at the injustice. “Dear students, you guys are completely clueless. Earlier, Eunha kindly offered to give Lisa a ride. She was so worried that she even drove slowly to follow her. Lisa was the one who was unwilling to take her car.”
