251.Dong Yuzhu Started It

Dong Yuzhu was famous for making up stories about students to their parents.

She was unlike the other teachers, who only notified parents of their children’s misbehaviours for the students’ own good.

She was the sort who enjoyed adding details and exaggerating small events for the sake of painting a poor image of the students in front of their parents. Her goal was to strengthen her intimidating image before the students.

Although she succeeded in doing so, her methods had led to some students’ acute dislike for her.

However, most of the parents felt that she was great and always ate out of her hands.

Some students had suffered her wrongful accusations and had yet to succeed in defending themselves. They had been suffering silently in anger for a long time.

One of them said, “Why else would she be called Madam Kill-All? Isn’t it logical that her nails are sharp?”

“That small amount of blood makes it a small wound. If she had been serious, she would have already cut you down!”

These words tickled the students’ laughter.

“Who, who called me Madam Kill-All!” Dong Yuzhu glared at the students.

She assumed no one would admit it, but Jaehyun responded with a grin. “I did!”

“You…” Dong Yuzhu appeared angry and frustrated, but she eventually put on a helpless expression. “Jae, don’t mess around with everyone else.”

Her tone did not contain any blaming. Instead, when she addressed Jaehyun, her tone was filled with concern.

If it had been any other students, there was no doubt she would have criticised them harshly.

She was exactly what one would expect from someone who bowed down to power but stepped on the weak.

Everyone knew that she had floundered in her position as a lecturer for years but could never manage to become even an assistant professor. Her thoughts had shifted onto the principal and she was constantly trying ways to build closer relations with him.

She always tried to please the principal’s only son, Jaehyun, with every method possible.

It was a known fact that the principal was not impressed by her methods and always avoided her.

Her actions had long been discussed by the students and drew a lot of criticism.

Dong Yuzhu immediately suffered many looks of disdain. She could only look away from them.

At this moment, the school bell rang. Several lecturers tried to leave the office but could not squeeze through the students. It seemed like the students had no intentions of leaving for class.

Upon seeing this, Ma Yongting immediately said decisively, “All right. Let’s return to the topic and quickly settle Lisa’s issue. We shouldn’t delay everyone’s lessons any longer.”

His gaze shifted onto Lisa’s injured wrist. He then took in Dong Yuzhu’s swollen face. “Teacher Dong, although Lisa hit you, it’s true that you were the one who first hurt her. As a teacher, you are absolutely not allowed to harm the students. The students are also not prohibited from defending themselves.”

“But…” Dong Yuzhu wanted to argue but was immediately cut off by Ma Yongting. “The person who made the first move will always be on the losing end. Furthermore, you’re also a teacher. I recommend for you to not report to the police and allow us to settle this issue internally. If this matter is blown up, it will be a disadvantage to you.”

“I understand.” Although Dong Yuzhu was unhappy, she could not go against the head of the department. She feared that her goal of becoming an assistant professor would go even further away from her.

Ma Yongting turned to Lisa. “You claimed that you are not being kept by any man. In that case, please explain. Why was an unrelated man willing to spend a hundred million dollars on you?”

“That’s right. If she wasn’t eligible to come into Jing Hua University, how did she become a student here?” Wu Jiatong raised her question from where she stood amongst the crowd.

“I’ve been engaged to someone since young. He is outstanding in terms of both character and family background.” Lisa replied politely. “Back when I performed poorly, I thought I would not be able to continue with my studies.”

At the time, her mother, Lilan, had told her that a terrible student like her would only waste money by attending school. She would also be humiliating herself. It would be better if she went to find a job instead.
