Lisa was flustered. She glared at Jungkook in embarrassment. “Why would you bring that up?”
Her response confirmed Jungkook’s words.
Jungkook glanced at Sehun’s expression of heartbreak. His heart turned heavy.
He was more than familiar with such heartbreaking despair.
Back when Lisa had eloped with Mingyu to betray him, he had been heartbroken and angered to the point where he wanted to destroy the entire world!
However, he slowly started to trust, based on Lisa’s words and actions, that she did not have any room for Mingyu in her heart. The incident was a misunderstanding.
Sehun’s response clearly seemed like that of a man who had just lost the love of his life.

For years, even Jungkook did not manage to see through him clearly. All he had were suspicions.
Now that Jungkook had confirmed Sehun’s feelings for Lisa, a hint of mockery appeared in his gaze. He was very satisfied with Lisa for openly admitting that she was his. His frozen heart instantly warmed up. “Lee Sehun, did you hear that clearly?”
Sehun concealed the hurt in his gaze and appeared unfazed as he responded. “For most couples these days, it’s normal to have such relations before marriage.”
“She is Lee Lalisa.” Jungkook pointed out.
Sehun felt his heart hammering with pain.
Indeed, Lisa would only do such a thing with someone if she cherished the person in her heart.
When Lisa glanced at Sehun, the other party had already managed his own emotions. However, he did not look happy.
She recognised that her brother was upset at her for having intimate relations before marriage. “Brother, I…”
“Don’t speak about it anymore.” Sehun was drowning in misery. He barely managed to hold onto his composure. “I’ll go wash the plates.”
He picked up the remaining dishes from the dining table into the kitchen. The instant he turned around, his tears escaped and rolled down his fair cheeks.
Three years ago, when he had been jailed, the emotions he experienced were that of anger from being wronged. It stemmed from his difficulty in accepting the situation.
But right now, he felt as though his entire heart had been dug out. It was an overwhelming pain that made it difficult for him to continue living!
Jungkook tugged Lisa’s little head over and prevented her from watching Sehun’s heavy back view.
Even from behind, the man appeared to be in despair.
He could not help but suspect whether Sehun would jump off from the twentieth storey. That would be the best conclusion. It would be a glorious burial.
Lisa’s attention was diverted by Jungkook. She did not seem to pay much attention to Sehun. “My brother doesn’t seem to be very happy?”
Jungkook sat down on the couch. He forcefully tugged her onto his lap. “Who cares about how he feels?”
“He is my brother.” She pouted and responded. “Since young, I’ve treated him like my actual brother. How can I ignore his feelings?”
Jungkook’s lips twitched into a smile. He responded coldly. “These words are pleasing to my ears.”
It was a pity that Sehun did not think the same.
If Sehun dared to yearn for his woman, he could easily send him back to jail anytime. In fact, it would be impossible for him to wash off his crimes for the rest of his life.
“No, my brother has always believed that I’m obedient and that I won’t do anything out of line.” Lisa thought about it and said, “I should go explain myself to him…”
“What’s there to explain?” Jungkook’s expression turned cold. “Earlier, he said that it’s normal for couples these days to have relations before getting married. It means that he doesn’t mind it.”
