Chapter 29 - Good News

After Alessia's arrest, all the other students now learned about the investigation against her, who was investigating, and who ultimately made sure Alessia was arrested. The director had let all the students come to the auditorium and explain it to them. He had been in on it from the beginning, as Yibo now learned.

When the students learned that it was Yibo, of all people, who had gotten Alessia to betray herself and her family, the other students cheered. Youn, Wooseok and Emily hugged him strongly. They all thanked him for helping to get such a dangerous person out of circulation. Yibo was also happy, but he did not feel like celebrating.

Yibo wanted to help Zhan with his mission to finally get Zhan away from Alessia and have him all to himself. But that Zhan would then no longer be with him every day, he had not considered. He had completely ignored the fact that with the end of the mission, Zhan would no longer be a student.

Worried about his future with Zhan and what would become of their relationship now, he could only be a little happy about his success in finally being rid of Alessia. And his sadness and worry must have been visible on his face as well. Because it was the director of the Keno Academy, of all people, who approached him and took him into his office for a talk.

It was Yibo's first time in the director's office. He always thought it was certainly large and nobly furnished.
