Arthur's pov

"Nothing my love" I replied immediately as I closed the door and then we stopped talking. We were looking for good places to sit so I looked around carefully watching for any good opportunities

"It's a lot of students" Geo said and I turned to look at him. He was looking at all the students with his mouth half open. I doubt he was looking for a place to sit, but I had to say he was right. I have never seen the gym so full

"Yes" Alice said after a few seconds, clearly looking for somewhere for us to sit too. I nodded too not sure if anyone was paying attention and then turned my head to look the other way. It wasn't easy to find something with all the kids here

But I just kept looking. I didn't care if we had to sit far from the field, I wanted to be here and so my besties "Come on, come on" I began to mumble quietly in concentration and suddenly as my prayers were heard my eyes stopped in a sure and good I could say spot

I turned to Alice who was next to me and walked behind her leaning a little to whisper in her ear over all the sound " Um I found three seats there" I said as I pointed to the spot I had found

I watched as she turned her head in the direction I was pointing, examining it, and she finally smiled slightly. I would take it as she agreed to go there. It was good, close to the stadium and ultimately the only seats I could find

We started heading there with Alice in front of us and when we got there we started getting pushed by students who were standing and talking to others. I sighed frowning. After a few seconds of students pushing us all over the place, we finally sat down and I took a deep breath

"Omg I thought we'd never make it here" Geo whispered to me as his eyes darted around all the students and I laughed

Alice looked at us and narrowed her eyes "What" I saw her mouthing "Nothing important" I mouthed back smiling

I saw her face light up with a smile, probably already knowing that Geo said something that made me laugh

I turned again, watching the students now. I also spotted my sister talking to Jamie. They looked like they were having fun

I smiled as I watched them. I was really happy for her

When Lisa started hanging out with Sophia and Jamie I warned her about them both but as the months went by I knew I was wrong about Jamie

He would talk to me sometimes and even if I was rude to him or didn't answer, he would continue. Every time he passed by me when he was home he would at least say hello

And then I realized he was a good guy. He even treated my sister very nicely and I could watch how he looked at her. He was looking at her like that now and I really tried to hide the smile that had formed on my face

I really wanted us to talk and tell her how I feel. One day maybe

I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts when I felt someone tripping over spilling something on the shirt I was wearing. Before I turned my head I glanced at Lisa who now was looking me in the eyes worriedly. I don't know when she noticed me

Jamie turned too after a few seconds and when he glanced at me he looked angry?

Then I felt like things slowed down. I noticed some students were still talking to each other while others were looking at me whispering to each other or laughing

I could even hear Geo gasping next to me and when I finally turned my head to the person who had spilled something on my shirt, I knew what everyone was looking at

The first thing I saw was a girl with long black hair and bright pink clothes holding the seat so she could stand better. She suddenly stopped and looked at me after checking the bottle she was holding tightly in her hand

I looked down at my ruined shirt and frowned. Perfect

"I'm sorry" I heard her say and when I looked back at her she was really putting on a great show of being sorry but I could see how hard she was hiding a smile

I was about to start yelling at her when I felt someone grab my arm. I turned to Geo, he was looking at me holding my hand tightly and behind him Alice was burning holes in Sophia's head

"I'm really sorry" she said again and this drew my attention to her "I'm really really sorry Arthur" she let the smile slip on her face now and then I knew I was never wrong about her. She had the same expression she had when he pushed Sophia that day at our house. While looking into her eyes I wanted to ask her what I did to make her hate me so much

"It's okay" I said smiling as I stopped myself from grabbing her long hair tightly

I finally stood up and looked at her with the fakest smile before turning to the kids "I'll be back, I'm going to the bathroom" I said pointing to the door and then started walking, politely pushing a few students who were still staring at me next to them

I turned one last time and noticed Alice looking at me with a kind smile while Geo looked at Sophia who was walking towards my sister and Jamie while waving at others like nothing happened and ruffling her hair

Then my eyes turned to Lisa who couldn't take hers off me. It was the first time our eye contact had lasted this long

I sighed, turning around and continued walking. I walked out of the gym while looking at my shirt. I frowned as I continued to look at it. I even think some of it spilled on the top of my pants. It looked like juice or something and of course I couldn't stay like that

"Damn" I cursed with a scream and grabbed my shirt tightly. It could come off with the help of the washing machine but all I could do now is pour some water on it

"Jesus" I whispered in frustration. She could do anything to ruin a good time

I must have been so focused on the big stain on my shirt and my thoughts that I didn't even turned in the right direction to go to the bathroom because when I opened the door and looked up I was sure I wasn't in the bathroom

Instead, I was at the locker room door with a blond boy with blue eyes sitting and looking straight at me in surprise. He was wearing his basketball uniform and his hair was a mess probably from shuffling it

I felt completely stupid

I was still holding onto my shirt with one hand while the other gripped the knob so tightly that my knuckles turned white. I bit my bottom lip and was about to leave and go to the bathroom when his deep voice stopped me

"I hope you don't leave so early sweetheart". Damn that smile again. I stopped where I was and smiled back hesitantly

Well, it seems Sophia hadn't ruined all the good times

I hope you liked it
