Chapter 19

Gabe's pov

"Where the hell is he? We've been waiting for hours"

"Jesus Bruce, relax, it'll be over in a minute or so" I said with a deep sigh

We're waiting for Arthur to come so we can go somewhere in the evening and Bruce hasn't stopped complaining. I started tapping the steering wheel of the car to the beat of the music playing on the radio and put my head back on the seat, closing my eyes

"He finally did us the honor" I heard Bruce say and I turned my head towards Jack's house opening my eyes again. Now the door to his house was open and he was there with his mom behind him. I sat up and rolled down the window greeting with a smile

"Hello Mrs. Hale"

"Hey Gabe, Bruce" she greeted us back with the biggest smile

Jack has such a perfect family. His moms were and always will be there for me and Bruce ,especially Bruce. They helped him make the decision to come out to the family or not so yeah I could say they are a second family to us

"Hey guys" Jack said when he finally got to our car and got in, sitting in the back seats
"Hi" Me and Bruce greeted him and then we immediately started talking about everything

"You're late. I'm telling you the truth I was about to sleep"

"Bruce you can be such a drama queen sometimes" Jack said laughing

"Yes Brucey" I said laughing too. When we finished teasing him, he gave us the finger while sticking out his tongue. Just what a child would do. All we could hear was our own laughter and the soft music in the background

"So have we decided where to go?" I asked after a few minutes. I waited for an answer as I hummed to the new song from the radio I knew

"Actually my moms told me about a place where we could eat and that's nice too so I might say give it a try. What do you say?" Jack asked looking at both of us

"Why not go for something new" Bruce and I agreed to visit this place. Jack gave me the direction his mums told him and whenever he wasn't talking about them he was talking about Arthur. He was proud of himself and what he did and I was proud and happy for him. The rest of our ride went like this

When I pulled my car out of the store I could see a small place but it was so nice and I didn't need to go inside to feel a warming feeling. I lifted my head and read the name. Dina. Well, it was worth our time because as we walked in it was even better. I looked around me. Not too many people just what we need for our evening

Most of the tables were empty except for four. I looked at the customers and when I got to the last ones I almost gasped. I elbowed the others who were each next to me while arguing about where to sit. Finally they looked at me with frowns on their faces that quickly faded when I pointed to the table I was looking at

I turned to Jack who was smiling and I knew Bruce had the same smile on his face. Maybe I had too. When Jack looked back at me, I already knew what he wanted to do. It was as if we were talking only with our eyes, and my thoughts were confirmed when he began to strode towards the table where Arthur, Geo and Alice were sitting. We followed him

Then everything happened very quickly for me. One moment I was behind Jack who was awkwardly trying to talk or flirt with Arthur and the next I was sitting between Arthur and Alice looking at my twin brother and Jack across from me

When Arthur suggested we sit with them I was surprised because I wasn't expecting them, well I wasn't expecting Arthur to be so friendly so early. Geo and Alice looked shocked and a bit surprised too. But here we are now sitting like a big company without talking
