Arthur's pov.

"So are you going on a date?" Alice happily asked as we were waiting by her car for my mom to come and get me. Geo was sitting next to me, texting someone with a little frown on his face

"Yes" I simply whispered like it was no big deal, but my slight blush that I was hiding pretty well said otherwise

"When?" When I heard the excitement in her question, I turned my head towards her, knowing damn well that it would disappear. I left the sight of Geo still looking at his phone

"Well" We hadn't decided anything yet, I had just said it as an idea for some day but this did not seem to fuel Alice's liking

"So you said you were going on a date but didn't decide when" she rolled her eyes and I nodded with a confused look on my face. That's exactly what I said, but I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts as she smacked me gently on the back of the head. I rubbed the itchy spot hard and gave her the middle finger, which she returned with a small laugh

"Arthur, you've been waiting for these moments forever. Do you know what I'm saying? Don't be late for anything" Coming closer to me, she put her arm around my shoulders and looked at me again with a casual smile, her hair slightly swaying in the cold wind and her small movements

"I will text him when I get home. Jeez," I whispered and a small huff came out of her mouth, closer to me now as she had laid her head on my shoulder. From afar I could see my mum's familiar car getting closer to the school's parking lot. I gently passed Alice away, her hair tousled all over her frowning face. I gave her a small apologetic smile and I grabbed my school bag that I had left on the floor a few minutes ago, hanging it on my shoulder

"See you tomorrow my bitches" I greeted them with a laugh and blew them a kiss after. I sped off in my mom's car, the last thing I heard was Geo asking if Alice could give him a ride home and the latter happily agreed. Then they both greeted me with matching yellings as soon as I got inside the car

"Hi my little babe" my mom stretched back and gave me a small kiss on my forehead as soon as I got inside, sitting in the back. I rolled my eyes trying to get away but still the smile on my face was there. She sat up back in her seat and took the wheel in the best mood ever. As she started the car, I looked at the mirror, through which I saw the eyes of my familiar sister. I didn't get to avert them somewhere else, she immediately turned slightly, her face coming into contact with mine. She slightly smiled at me and without a second thought turned to her previous position again. I was shocked to say the least

"Are you alright back there dear?" my mum asked me, who is looking at me this time from the mirror

Well, no exact...

"Yes I'm totally fine mum"

***************

"Nooo" I frowned as I looked at myself in the mirror. I grabbed the hem of the blouse and the jeans I was wearing to examine them better but I pout, trying quickly to get them off. I ran to my cupboard, searching, grabbing and finally throwing various clothes on my bed. I didn't like anything and I wanted to be perfect for the date

I had immediately texted him as soon as I got home, leaving my phone close to me waiting for the familiar sound of a reply and it didn't take long to come. I ran and opened it like it was my life's savior or something. I started bouncing up and down when I saw the best reply in my life. A beautiful "Yes"

We were going to have a date at Dina's today in the afternoon and I couldn't wait

"That's a yes," I said proudly to myself when I stared at my black ripped jeans and a white baggy t-shirt with a few words that make you feel beautiful on it. I wore them without having any thoughts, being sure that it was the right outfit. When I was done, I walked towards the mirror and admired myself. I smiled and bit my bottom lip before doing a twirl, completely excited. In my black vans I'll be finally ready
