Chapter 35

Arthur's pov.  

Soft background music was playing and I closed my eyes enjoying it. A beautiful laugh woke me up from my trance to look at a slightly large room with its wall full of old and new bands. I was sprawled out on the carpet playing with my fingers and looking all around. I had seen this room so many times. I sighed with a small smile 

We were sitting in Alice's room talking when the sound of the bell interrupted us. Alice stood up quickly and run downstairs yelling

"Finally he came" 

I laughed and followed her slower toward the door. When she opened it, she pulled Geo exactly like she had pulled me minutes ago. Luckily, he didn't drag him upstairs. She let go of him and then he looked at me and came to hug me. When we let go from each other too Alice gestured for us to follow her upstairs. We approached her room and got inside before closing the door

Geo put his shoes and his jacket off and left them in a corner close to mine before leaving his gift next to mine too on Alice's desk. She and I watched his every move as he was walking across the room. We had already sat and were waiting for him to join us. We had a lot to say. After a few minutes of going around the room he came and sat with us. He looked at me and smiled before his gaze drifted toward Alice 

"Was I late?" he asked while clicking his phone open looking at the time and I sighed loudly. This got his attention and looked at me again

"No, you didn't, dear Geo" I said ironically. He noticed and turned to Alice with a concerned look muttering an apology. She just shook her head smiling as if to show that it wasn't a big deal. We knew that he would be late anyway. Sometimes he was late and when he felt like joining us he would come early. I laughed at my own joke and they looked at me confused. When I noticed I gave them a small smile and they laughed

Geo ended up laying on the floor while me and Alice were still sitting. We were chatting about different themes and when we mentioned the guys and the game, Geo flinched with a slight blush and a smile. Alice looked a bit puzzled but I smiled looking him straight in the eyes. I thought he forgot or regretted what probably happened with Bruce, but of course he couldn't keep a secret from us

Alice was still looking at him as he sat closer to me keeping his smile on. Alice came closer too, being all close to each other now. We did this out of instinct even if no-one was here at the house. Alice's parents had gone out so they could leave us alone to do our things

Geo opened his mouth but closed it again. He also closed his eyes, as if thinking about something before opening them again. Both of his eyes were shining, they were more beautiful than ever, like some good memories came back to his mind

He moved his head even closer so that our foreheads were almost touching. He looked at both of us and he finally opened his mouth with words forming this time as well

"You couldn't believe what happened when I went to get your gift" he said while looking at Alice as if she was pointing at her and I have shut all other thoughts out of my mind for now. I felt like Geo was a teacher and I was a student while listening to him carefully so I couldn't miss something important while he started talking

"What?" I gasped as soon as he was done talking. He took a deep breath after talking without taking much. He nodded, with a shade of red and my eyes widened as I looked at her. She was looking at Geo with the same expression as me. Shocked and not knowing if she would be happy or stay like that
