Chapter 34

Arthur's pov.

"So, she finally came" Alice exclaimed and I just hummed, looking at Geo who was doing something in his locker

"What did you think of her?" she asked immediately and I looked at her. She had her hands in her jacket pocket

I didn't mind answering as I shrugged. I knew that if I opened my mouth then I could tell everything Lisa told me. Firstly it was something important to her and secondly it was the first time we talked so I didn't want to screw it up

Alice must have understood something so that was why she was asking me all these questions and it was also the way she was asking me. I felt like I was under interrogation. I felt really bad for not telling them anything, but at least Alice stopped bothering to ask to know anything. She looked at me before rolling her eyes and smiling

"I finally found it" Geo screamed in happiness before realising and apologizing. I turned toward him looking directly at his hand. My eyes widened in confusion

"Sorry, were you searching for a pen all this time?" I asked him while pointing to the pen he was holding. I heard Alice laughing from behind me and a smile formed on my face

"Yeah, it's my lucky one" he replied simply

"Lucky one. Really? Since when?" I asked laughing but he didn't get to answer as the bell finally rang

Geo walked past me and tapped me lightly on the shoulder with his pen. I laughed even harder at that. We could really be like children sometimes. Alice rolled her eyes at us and that cheered me up. We started walking to our lessons, while I was trying to steal Geo's pen and with Alice being done with us

I eventually reached the door of my first class and greeted them before getting in. I had biology, one of my favourite subjects.I went to my seat and sat down, leaving my school bag on the leg of my desk. A few kids were still whispering about what had happened in the cafeteria with Jack and the others, but I couldn't care less

Time passed with our teacher talking and explaining and suddenly I found myself marking our homeworks and going out to find the others. Luckily, we had the next class together

I went to my locker where I saw Alice and Geo holding their books for the next class. I ran to them and hugged them before turning quickly around to take the right books out. It didn't take me a long to find them and when I did I closed my locker and turned at them again smiling

"How was class?" I asked as we started walking slowly toward our class. We had some time so we didn't have to hurry. Other kids around us were running and yelling, while we were quietly discussing and laughing about classes and different things

I was unfortunately not looking in front of me while I was saying something to the others and suddenly I ran into someone. Luckily, I didn't fall down but my book did. I heard Alice ask me if I was okay and I nodded before bending down and picking up the book again. I stood up and raised my head so I could apologize to the person. As I was ready to, Geo grabbed my hand and I looked at him confused. He was looking at the person in front of me, blushing and smiling. My eyes widened in more confusion before I quickly looked away. My mouth dropped open when I noticed Gabe and Bruce standing in front of us as they were holding their own books. They were looking at us, well Bruce was mostly looking at Geo, I know something happened between them. Sadly, Jack wasn't with them and I was a bit disappointed

I felt Alice tap my arm slightly, while Geo held the other tightly. Oh, right! I forgot to apologize. I put a big effort to free my hand from Geo and when he finally let go with an apologetic look on his face, I turned toward the twins again, smiling
