Geo's pov

"Where is Arthur? He just said that he is going to the bathroom" Alice said worriedly while checking the time on her phone. She was right, Arthur went to the bathroom to see if he could do something with his shirt but he still hadn't come back

"Don't worry, he is okay. John and his friends aren't here so we don't have to worry about them and I didn't see anyone exiting the door except Arthur" I explained to her calmly and after the explanation she seemed to calm down too

"I don't know, I guess you're right. He might still be in the bathroom" she said as she looked towards the door, waiting for it to open and for Arthur to be revealed. I sighed and looked towards Sophia

After what happened she and her friends were unexpectedly quiet. They weren't talking much. I saw Jamie turning his head toward Lisa once or twice and then he looked at the field again. I wonder why Lisa didn't stood up and stormed out of here after the accident

"Here he is" I heard Alice saying next to me, exhaling a deep breath of relief. She drew my attention so I turned and looked toward the door. Indeed, Arthur had finally come and now he was approaching us but something was odd

He came wearing a black, too big for him sweatshirt

Alice must had noticed too because she turned toward me confused but she didn't get to ask me anything because Arthur had already sat in his seat and spoke before she could open her mouth

"Sorry for being late" he apologized and as we were ready to ask him what happened and why he was late and came here wearing a stranger's sweatshirt, we heard students cheering. We turned our heads toward the field where the cheerleaders had already been, meaning that the game would start in a bit

I turned toward Arthur and patted him on the shoulder "Later" I mouthed to him as soon as he turned his head and looked at me, he nodded and looked at the field again

After the cheerleaders were done with their choreography the players from both teams started coming to the field. Everyone stood up when our team came in. They were clapping and yelling at them encouraging words. Suddenly Arthur stood up from his seat and started clapping more excitedly, smiling. I got up too to see who he was smiling at and my eyes widened when I saw the same matching smile on Jack's face while looking toward Arthur

Okay, what the hell?

Something definitely happened between them

But I will ask him about that after the game, for now I will enjoy Bruce flexing his skills. I sat down and rested in my seat focusing on the game in front of me and I have to say that was the best 40 minutes of my life. I yelled, I cheered, I cursed, I made eye contact with Bruce and he smiled, I smiled too, I was clapping for hours, I hugged Alice and Arthur whenever we got a point and that was a lot of times. The other team was good but not as perfect as ours. I have to admit that Jack was one of the best players here. Arthur would stand up and start clapping and yelling Jack's name when he would get points. The whole game was tense, but the most tense moment was the last few minutes. Someone had to get a point if we wanted to win and Gabe was the one who did it. When he finally threw the ball we all stood up cheering and hugging each other. We won. Our team was as happy as we were as they encircled Gabe and started hitting him on the shoulder as congratulations except for Bruce and Jack who hugged him tight. I smiled as with the corner of my eye I could see the proud smile of Alice who was watching Gabe. After the players shook hands and began to leave for the locker room, all the students began to stand up and walk out as well

We stood up too, discussing about the game and how good our team was

As we were near the door I saw Sophia talking with another girl, Jamie and Lisa behind her whispering something to each other. Then they started walking toward the door and I might have heard the word party. It seems like someone was holding a party. As soon as we were in the front yard I stopped both of my friends
