Patton's P.O.V

"He seriously did that?" Janus asks with disbelief.

Everyone in our group is up by now and have freshened up the little bit they could. Which honestly just means they were able to brush their teeth and tidy up their hair. Logan just finished telling everyone what happened last night.

"Yeah. I don't think Logan would lie about something like that," I respond to Janus' question. He nods in agreement.

"What exactly was he trying to accomplish? Was he just hoping to watch them sleep while doing who knows what with himself?" Remus asks.

"He was going to relieve himself on you," a new voice says from the doorway.

We all turn to see a kid of average height who looks a bit younger than us. He looks like Mike with the same black hair but green eyes. He's leaning against the doorframe.

"Why? How do you know?" I ask him.

"No idea why but I know because that asshole did it to me after I came out as bisexual," the kid says.

"You are?" Aaron asks.

"Charlie," the kid says.

"How old were you when it happened?" Diana asks.

"13. I'm 16 now," he says as he stands up straight.

"I just wanted to apologize correctly for my stupid homophobic brothers behavior. He may be 18 but he acts like he's a child," Charlie says with a sigh.

"No need. In fact I feel sorry for you. Having a brother like that must be terrible," Virgil says.

"Oh you have no idea. It's like my very existence is a problem for him. Believe me when I say that it takes everything I've got to not throw him out of the barricade and let what's gonna happen just happen," Charlie says. Virgil, Roman, Janus and Remus chuckle at that. Everyone else seems amused as well.

"In all seriousness I want to like my brother but he hates me. That and he's an asshole. Kind of makes it difficult," Charlie tells us.

"Charlie!" a female voice calls out.

"Ahh. That's my cue. See you all around," Charlie says. He turns around and heads back upstairs.

"I like him. He seems cool," Roman says once he's gone.

"Yeah. He seems alright," Janus adds.

"Yeah. Well we just have to keep a closer eye on Brad. Also we should keep up with the night watch. This just solidified my dislike of this place," Virgil says but mutters the last part so only Aaron, Logan, Roman and I can hear it.

"Good idea. One of you, other than Logan, can take watch tonight," Aaron tells the four of us.

"I'll do it," Virgil volunteers.

"Alright. Virgil why don't-" Aaron starts but is cut off by someone. We turn to look at the doorway to see Sally.

"Sorry if I'm interrupting. I would like to add some more people to patrol the barricade. Would any of you like to volunteer?" she asks.

"I'll go," Virgil says.

"Me too," Roman adds.

"I'd like to join as well," Logan says. All three of them already have their guns. I have mine as well.

"Anyone else?" she asks.

"I was actually wondering if there was anything else that may need to be done. Something else I can help with," I say to her. She looks down at the gun on my hip before looking back up at me.
