Alone.. But Not For Long.

~Chapter Three~

The four had finished lunch, and everyone continued on with the day.  Leorio and Kurapika were in the room, and Kurapika was telling Leorio about Killua’s situation to see what could be done to help. 

“Hm, well there isn’t really much any of us can do.  Just let him figure out his feelings, he’ll get there.”  Kurapika nodded as he laid his head against a stack of pillows.  He would have chosen to lay against Leorio, but he wasn’t quite sure what their relationship status was.

“Everything alright, Pika?” Leorio asked.  Kurapika blushed a bit at the sudden nickname. He nodded in reply insuring he was fine, but instantly took his answer back and sighed. No point in hiding it, or else it’ll never go away. 

“Leorio, what are we exactly? Friends? More than so??” He asked as he turned towards the man.  Leorio paused for a moment. 

“To be honest, I’ve liked you for a while now..  And that kiss, well I was hoping you’d take it as a sign but I guess that was too subtle? Anyways uhm. Would you want to be my boyfriend?” Leorio asked, his straight forward reply causing Kurapika to go red.

He nods with a bright smile, getting closer to Leorio and pulling him into a hug.  Leorio hugged the small figure back as Kurapika hid his face into Leorio’s warm chest.  Leorio then lifted the blonde’s face, pulling their faces close together.  He pulls Kurapika into a small kiss, and as it breaks they stare into each other's eyes, both of them smiling.

The two shared another kiss, Kurapika starting it this time.  The kiss started off sweet, but started to grow sloppy and passionate in a matter of seconds. Kurapika got on top of Leorio with a grin, the two kissing once again. Leorio shared the same grin as he unbuttoned Kurapika's shirt. 

The door suddenly opened wide, and the two stopped what they were doing immediately. 

“What’s wrong?! Why are you two wrestling?!” Gon asked with worry in his voice, clearly not getting what was going on.  Kurapika slowly got off Leorio as his face turned a burning shade of red.

“Oh w-well, we weren’t wrestling.. Kurapika just fell on top of me?..”  Leorio slowly said, making up the lie as he spoke. 

Killua poked his head in the doorway. 

“Oooo! You guys were totally making out!!” Killua snickers, but stops as Kurapika glares at the boy.  Gon looked over at the pair on the bed, then towards Killua. 

“Why would they do that??”  He said, Killlua catching a bit of disgust in Gon's tone.  Leorio faked a laugh, staring at Kurapika who had a heated face.

“Anyways.. Did you need anything?” Leorio asked Gon shook his head. 

“I don’t think I needed anything.. I was just bored,” he replied, finishing his sentence with a shrug.  Killua snickered.  “I knew exactly what you two were up to, I just wanted to poke fun at the two of you!”

Kurapikan stood up at the comment, giving yet another glare at Killua. 

“Okay I’m sorry, I’m sorry!” Killua exclaimed, trying to avoid anymore flying Kura shoes.

Leorio sighed.  “Alright you guys just go in the living room, I’ll be there soon.  While you wait you two can pick a movie,”  Leorio said, getting nods in reply as the younger two race each other to the couch.

Kurapika buttoned up his shirt and flopped back onto the bed, letting out a sleepy groan.  Leorio gave Kura a small kiss before exiting the room and joining the other two in on the couch.  He wasn’t even the least surprised to see a horror movie on the tv. 

“If you guys are gonna be watching stuff like this before bed I don’t want any complaints about nightmares,” He said while walking into the kitchen to make popcorn.  

“We’re too old for that kind of thing,” Killua said with a snicker. 

“And Killua, don’t try scaring Gon tonight either.  I will not hesitate to take your console away,” Leorio added as he put the popcorn into the microwave.  Killua groaned. 

“I’ll try not to,” He said sarcastically, getting an eye roll from Leorio.

A few hours had passed, and the three had already watched three different movies, all of them being horror.  Leorio was getting pretty bored of the movies, half the plots being the exact same. So he got up and went into his room.

Leorio opened the door to see Kurapika lying in bed and using his computer, the brightness of the screen revealing small eye bags on the blonde’s face.  Leorio joined Kurapika on the bed and closed the computer. 

“Hey,” Leorio said with a grin.  Kurapika glared at the man for a moment. 

Leorio chuckled as he took the computer off Kurapika’s lap and onto the nightstand, then pulling Kurapika into a hug as the two got under the blankets. 

“Kurapika,” Leorio whispered. 

“Hm?” He replied sleepily. 

Leorio smiled.  “I love you,” he finally said those three words.  Even though Kurapika was facing the opposite direction, Leorio could feel his smile. 

“I love you too,” the blonde replied as he held onto Leorio’s arms that lay around his body.

A muffled voice could be heard through the door.  “Ew!” Killua most likely started snooping again.

“Killua! Give them privacy!!” Gon yelled. 

Leorio and Kurapika chuckled at the two, before Kura slowly dozed off on Leorio.  It was still pretty early in the evening, but since Kurapika seemed pretty tired Leorio decided to let him sleep.  He didn’t mind the warmth of his body on top of him anyways, it was comforting.  Before he knew it, Leorio had fallen asleep as well.
