The Date

~Chapter Twenty-nine~

Gon woke up very early that morning, practically jumping around the room as a huge smile took over his face. He decided to head into the kitchen and make his beloved boyfriend some waffles.

He danced and hopped around as he got everything for the waffles. Gon was in a very energetic mood. Leorio ended up walking out of his room, laughing at the sight of Gon. "Gon, it's six in the fucking morning! What are you doing?" He said, still laughing. "I'm making Killua waffles!" Gon exclaimed. Leorio shook his head with a smile as he headed to the couch.

Once Gon finished making the waffles he put them in the oven to store the warmth, then joined Leorio on the couch. The two watched a random show as they waited for the others to wake up.

~Time Skip~

Around an hour later Killua entered the living room, rubbing his eyes as he glanced at the couch. "It's barely even seven, what are you two doing up?" Kil mumbled. "I was gonna get some water and walked into the kitchen to see Gon goofing off in the kitchen at six," Leorio replied in a chuckle. Gon stood up and ran to the oven. "I made you waffles!" He said as he walked up to Killua. Killua smiled at the boy. "Your crazy Gon," he mumbled with a laugh while gratefully taking the plate of food.

Leorio got up off the couch and headed to his room. "Well, I gotta go get ready for work," Leorio said before closing the door. "Kurapika heads out a few hours after, so does that mean we'll be home alone?" Gon says with a smile. Killua nodded. "You act like that's never happened," he said with a mouthful of waffles. He swallowed the food before speaking again. "Plus, that won't really matter. I'm gonna head out to the store before Kurapika leaves. Once I'm done setting everything up we're gonna get ready to go,"

Gon plopped himself on the couch. "It's gonna take that long?" He questioned. Killua chuckled as he placed his plate in the sink. "Stop whining," Kil replied with a smile as he lay himself on Gon.

Leorio soon took off for work, leaving the two boys alone in the living room as Kurapika still slept in the room. Killua snuggled up and pulled Gon towards himself, wrapping his arms and legs around the boy.

The two cuddled for around an hour or so, almost falling asleep until Kurapika had made his way into the creaky kitchen. Killua sat up, removing his grip from Gon. He could hear the boy give a soft and disappointed groan as Killua stood up. "I have to get everything ready for this evening," Killua mumbled before kissing the boy's forehead.

Gon gave a small nod before sitting up and rubbing his eyes. Killua left for the room to get changed. "You hungry?" Kurapika asked Gon as he went through the cabinets. "Mhm!" the boy replied.

Kurapika pulled out a pot along with a few other things, choosing to cook something slightly different for breakfast. Kurapika prepared some oatmeal as Gon flipped through Netflix. It didn't take too long to prepare everything, and the oatmeal was soon getting started.

Once Kurapika finished cooking breakfast he took two bowls and sat next to Gon on the couch. He handed Gon one of the bowls. "Gon," Kura cleared his throat before putting on a smile. Gon glanced at Kurapika as he took a bite of his oatmeal. "If Killua touches you while you guys are out, punch him," He ate a spoonful of his food afterwards as if he hadn't said anything.

Gon gave an awkward laugh, not sure how to react. He nodded in reply before continuing with eating. Killua soon exited his room grabbing his wallet. "I'm gonna get going, I'll be back in about an hour." Killua said before giving Gon a quick kiss goodbye.
