Graduation

~~Chapter Fifty-Three~~

The last day of hell, or- sorry. School. "There's no damn difference," Killua said to Kurapika as he put his shoes on. Kurapika chuckled softly as he rolled his eyes. "Oh, I can't wait to see you guys in your little graduation gowns!!" Kurapika said in a very emotional mom tone. "I'm so proud of you, big brother!" Alluka exclaimed as she jumped onto Killua.

Leorio chuckled softly at the view, taking a sip from his coffee while reading a magazine. (Old man) It was honestly the first time in a long while that they were all awake on a school morning.

"Agh- I need to breathe-," Killua said with a soft chuckle as he tried pulling Alluka off him. "Oops- Sorry!" She replied back with a soft laugh as she got off Killua. Alluka had finally arrived the night before, and now she was officially moved in. It seemed to have made the home so much more lively.

Killua and Gon said their goodbyes to the other three before exiting the house, holding hands as they began their walk to school.

~~Mini Skip~~

The two soon met up with Carlos and Kayden just as they did every school day. "Wow, I can't believe we're graduating right after this..-" Carlos said as they all walked around the school campus. They usually sat under a tree, but it seemed hardly any of the students were sitting. They were all wandering about and saying goodbye to the campus.

"This last day of school feels weird. Normally I'm completely fucking giddy to be leaving this prison, but I dunno. Now I just feel odd," Kayden said while sighing. Killua and Gon shrugged while Carlos nodded in agreement. "Eh.. Considering Gon and I were traveling the world as hunters, we didn't go to school. So I'm honestly not sure how I should be feeling about this," Killua replied in a mumble.

(We don't question how ppl who've never been to school js magically graduate-)

The four continued talking about school and random stuff like that, continuing on about colleges and such.

However, Killua grew a bit silent as he got lost in thought. Turning eighteen, college, marrying Gon.. All three of those subjects just danced around Killua's head, and he was stressing over something that didn't need to be stressed about, overthinking the matter completely.

First period soon started, and just like that everyone went to their classes in a bit more of a chippy mood than any other school day. The school definitely felt more lightweight, and practically everyone could feel the difference.

~~Mini Skip~~

Killua entered his ELA class, sitting near the back and sighing softly while burying his face into his arms. Once again, he was stressing over the same three topics from break, though mainly stressing over Gon.

He had everything planned out for the day he would propose, and it was still a few weeks away. Though it was still nerve-wracking and eating away at Killua's mind.

Before he knew it, a full twenty minutes had passed by in class. That entire time his head was down and he was completely detached from reality. It wasn't until the teacher approached Killua to "wake him up" due to everyone thinking he was completely passed out.

Killua sighed once again as he looked up at the board to check at what the absolute fuck was going on. They were just watching a movie, so Killua didn't understand why the teacher even bothered to "wake" Killua up.
